    Dear God Thank you

    Thank you

    The Animals

    Thank you
    for the cleansing flood waters
    for Noah and the ark
    Animals 2 by 2

    If it were me
    I think
I would have let us perish
    No I don't think
    I know
    You gave the ultimate
    When you gave your son

    Thank you God

    Running fast
    It forever lasts

    Don't kill yourself now
    Problem, I don't know how

Cut the wrists and slit your neck
As you stand shakeing on the deck

    Crying pours out of you
As of course there is hope too

    But, nothing lasts
    So run very fast

Its called "You're a Lie of Inner Peace" enjoy

So why do you pour it out
No one is making any sense
Keep your feelings in your mouth
    You're too intense

And I don't know why you're looking up
    There's no god above,
If there was why would he look down?
And if he did, He'd frown

But you still wait for some kind of sign,
    But my truth, my dream
    Is to leave religion behind,
But you are too brainwashed it seems

    Disagree, then why read?
Your own god is a lie
    If you believe
    Then why not die?

    You're not my teacher
    And I'm not a preacher
You chose to listen to me
    I tell you, I just can't believe
In some old broken telephone game
The Bible, I have read line by line
It has no answer except that you sin
    Why live life so boring,

Learn, Work, Breed, Die then Repeat

We're Lost in a faze of endless religions
And each one has a major contradiction,
Show me the truth and I'll show you the lie
But in the end we'll all just fall prey and die

    -To stop the rain-

    I try to breath
    I'm suffocating
    Try to heal
    This heart that breaking
    I try to survive
    Please save me
    This life I live
    Please trade me

    Words I've spoken
    gone unheard
    Tears I cry
    Go unseen
    I was scared
    You flee from thee
    Could you please
    Believe in me?

    To stop the rain
    I feel it splashing
    To stop the wind
    I feel it thrashing
    To stop the pain
    I feel inside
    To say a word
    Is to lie

    Hormonal hurricane
    Twisted tornado
    Full of pain
    Rod of lightning
    Do not strike
    Roll of thunder
    Hear my cry
    Let it end tonight

    To stop the rain
    To see me smile
    Let my heart rest
    For a while
    Cast the light
    And watch me shine
    One last time
    Before you strike

    Misspoken Heart

    by: David Marshall

    Your alone in the world.
You can't seem to make one smile.
    You lost the only girl,
that was ever really worth while.

You walk alone in the woods.
    Passing every broken stone.
    You didn't think you should,
but who cares when your alone.

The flowers fade black and die.
    With every step you take.
A memory comes with each tear you cry.
    A memory of every mistake.

    The sun slowly sets.
The wind's breeze sleeps at the moment.
A leaf falls for every regret.
The thoughts in your mind; thoughts of torment.

This pain through your soul; memories in your head.
You lay down on a near by log.
You've cried until your eyes are blurred; hope is dead.
You barely even notice the fog.

The sky is so black; all light consumed.
The sun will never come back.
Things might get better; you shouldn't assume.
All the stones are broken; but one has a crack.

You see a dull but living flower.
    You lift up that stone.
Your life is not over; don't ever cower.
    You wont always be alone.

    Those rocks may be broken.
    Those flowers may have died.
But your heart has been misspoken.
Your heart is not empty; God is inside.

    God's Gift

A single mother trying to make it on my own,
Living a life others don't condone,
Got away with most the things I did,
Seemed like more fun if it was something forbid,
Gave me a reason just to do it again,
But fate has a way of stepping in,
Just when you think you can't take no more,
The devil steps in to settle the score,
Offering things that seems only right,
Eternal Hell is his only plight,

    No rhyme to the reason,
Just a change of the season,
One foot in front of the other,
Never knowing one day she'd discover,
Fate has a way of stepping in,
Not knowing how to change or where to begin,
Down on my knees I called upon him,
Lord, I know what I've done has not been right,
That was just one battle, Lord, help win the fight,
Show me the way, Lord, help me achieve,
Forgive my sins, Lord it is you I receive,
Lord, help me to make a brand new start,
Lord, I accept you please come into my heart,

The Lord answered my prayers when he came into my life,
He forgave all my sins, relieved my worries and strife,
But he told me one thing, and this I shall never forget,
My child do not live your life with regret,
Live your life if there's no tomorrow,
No time for pain, grief or sorrow,
One day in Heaven you shall rejoice,
But the life you live now it is your choice,
You can choose to be happy, joyous or glad,
You can choose to live life and take the good with the bad,
To you my child I give my unconditional love,
Only the kind that comes from Heaven above,
Take with you these things you have learned,
Teach them to others and Heavens riches you've earned,

    Life's Lessons and Heavens reward,
All in a days work of our most precious Lord

    Amorous Stare

    Gazing into your eyes,
    Losing myself in time
    It's similar to a lullaby,
That you are told at bedtime

    In a state of trance,
    Not caring about much
You are not only worthy of a glance,
    But also a tender touch

    You hold my gaze,
    With such gentle eyes
    I am in a daze,
    Losing all track of time

    Then you smile,
    Eyes sparkling so bright
I ask you to stay awhile,
    Please stay with me tonight

    Blinking like the stars,
Your eyes are occupied with splendour
    You are my lodestar,
    With eyes so tender

Okay i just realized it had to be religious. So here it is
by the way I wrote this along time ago, so it is poorly written in poetry form, but there is something about it I like, which is why I still choose to submit it.

    (a reason)

    I watch the sunrise
    the birds fly by
    at the moment
    my only Friend
    seems to be the roof
    of my club house
that I choose to sit upon

So I ask my self as I sit here and wonder
Why is the sky so blue?
Not that I care about the weather
    or even the the atmosphere
    Spheres
Why is the world so round?
    Or all the other planets?
Not that I care about logic
or even really want to know why

Why does the clear ocean water look so blue?
I put some in a jar
and looked at it from a distance
    still no satisfaction
    Not that I care
I just want to fly through time

I want things to make sense without a reason
    Like I love God
    And I didn't need a reason

    Hell's Heaven vs. Heaven's Hell

    A knife piercing sorrow's skin
Pills sliding down an innocent throat
A man pulling the trigger to finish what he started
Satin looks down upon Hell's Heaven

A bruise on a child forms from her mother
A heart breaks from lover's past
The last drop of beer fills a child's head
Satin looks up at Hell's Heaven

A kiss goodbye when they just said hello
a woman is at the mercy of man and lust
Smoke fills a child's tree house
    Satin is not yet satisfied

Two people go six feet under
As the cause of a man's favorite drink
A baby's life has ended before it begun
By the decisive decision of a parent
A dreamer sets out to make his dreams
    Reality
    Satin will never be satisfied

God looks down upon this world he has created
    Wondering why he did
Watching the live's of his people
Being destroyed by a sweeet kiss
    From the lips of Satin
    God fights back
    To save this Hell

A broken heart is mended by a lover's melody
A wound too deep is healing well
A soul has been saved from the depths of Hell
    God is fixing his Hell

A child finds her mother once again
A baby is born with a miricle
Cancer has left the body of a friend
God is pleased with his progress on his Hell

Breath is restored to a loved one lungs
A life has ended happily with a song
Lust has been banned from a man's life
God is almost done fixing his Hell

A boy puts the bottle down for good
A daughter and father fix a relationship
A man joins a woman for love, not for money
God is satisfied with his Heaven

    Satin has lost once again

I usually don't write religious poems, but here it goes:

    Her Own Angel

    Her own angel
    Slides down
    From the Heavens
    She won't frown

    It tells her
    Stories of past
    Tells her it's time
    Time at last

    She joins the angel
    Upon her wing
    And listens to
    The angel sing

    The angel is dark
    Leaves no more breath
    This lonely angel
    Is the angel of Death

    The girl awaits
    Her destiny
    But the girl
    Can no longer see

    The land is dark
    The air is hollow
    Into the fire
    This girl must follow

    The angel guides her
    Into her fate
    She would be happy
    If she did not hate

    "The hate has changed you,"
    The angel recalls
    As she lays eyes on
    The most hated of all

    The one she killed
    The one she desired
    What could have fueled
    This deadly fire?

    She said she loved him
    But rejection was too much
So she had to hurt him
    With only touch

    She says she's sorry
    The angel awaits
    She brings her to
    A golden gate

    The Chapters Vol.1

Hate unwreaketh my house und home,
Let be the 'holy' one to flame unknown,
    Poisoned gates awaits thee,
    Stricken sabbath sendeth me

    Seven days tormented I,
    Mortal minutes passeth by,
    Lit upon the wicked wick,
My hope melted like a candle stick

Let he who forceth my wreckoning,
    Be burnt unto the earth,
Yet thee who accept my divinity,
    Have riches of earths girth

    Send forth your golden chariots,
    And riders of the son,
But let be known false idol he,
My word it shall be done

    As it is written

Xx Half Empty Or Half Full xX

Is your glass half empty or half full?
What do you do when on you life pulls?
Do you look on the bright side with a smile?
Or do you feel low for a little while?

Do you always let the world get you down?
Or do you just say 'Everything goes around'?
Or are you optimistic in everything you do?
And just wait for life to give you your cue?

Are you happy with the way things are going?
Always have a smile that's pleasant and glowing?
Or do you always let the bad times take over?
Always depending on that old lucky clover?

Do you try having a positive state of mind?
Always take the time to calm down and unwind?
Or do you get worked up, jittery and stressed?
And never take the time out to have a little rest?

Is your glass half empty and leaving you drained?
Leaving you feeling so blank and detained?
Just look at your glass and picture it half full
And envision yourself in paradise's pull ©

    To Better Days
    By: Twisted Heart

Though you walk upon your broken dreams
    As heartache fills your soul
You may find a hurt too painful
That has found no hope to hold

As the tears of all your heartache
Comes to rest upon your cheek
And no comfort can be found inside
The wounds of love so deep

You may question your own sanity
At times you can't find faith
As sure as you are broken by
The trials you have to face

And troubles tend to pile up
They are more than you can bear
    Remember there is someone who
Will tend your heart with care.

    In prayer you find surrender
To the loss you sometimes face
    To give you understanding
    With his defining grace.

You just lay all of your burdens
At his feet then turn away
And face a brand new future
    A life of better days.
