Soulmates/Destiny

Do you believe in soulmates or destiny? Why/Why not?

I thought I found mine... but now I guess I was wrong... I would like to believe it, its nice to know there is someone out there meant for me... but yeah... for some reason I don't know about that...

I do believe in soul mates. When I met my husband, we knew right away that we were meant to be together. We met on April 7th and were married on July 1st. That was more than 4 years ago, and we are still going strong. Even though we have been through a lot, we are so close, and I know we will always be together. :-)

i do belive in soulmates/destiny.Ive found both within my husband.I met him when he was 17 and me 20 right from the get go it was liek weve known each always.We were together only 2-3 mths b4 we decided on having our son and thne shortly got engaged afterwards.Weve been togther 3 yrs and married almost 2 and have a beautiful 2 yr old son.I cant even remeber what its like without my hus in my life it seems hes always been there my only one and i know he ll always b my only one 4 always.

Absolutely, though I tend to take a somewhat Edgar Cayce-ish approach to a difference between soulmates and twinsouls.

In that regard, I believe many of my good friends are people with whom I've walked before. In addition, I think I have a twinsoul out there, which is not to say that soulmates can't be deep loves, even for an entire lifetime. Did I mention I believe in reincarnation? ;)

As to destiny, I'm a firm believer in karma and dharma. So yes, destiny to a certain degree, though modified with a healthy dose of individual choices (and their consequent repercussions).

in a way i do and in a way i dont. Like, i don't believe there is "one guy" out there for you. Because you can fall head over heals for more than one guy. Like, if your going out with someone, and he proposes, he's just the first one to ask(maybe)
Another reason, is you cant just sit around at home and wait for prince(or princess) charming to come knocking at your door. You need to get out there and look!
But if someone does propose, then he is wanting to be with you for the rest of his life. So in a way it is destinyl... I don't know.. its all so confuzzling...

I believe in soulmates.. I do believe so strongly that there is someone, somewhere waiting for me as I'm trying to find her. But I don't believe in destiny, because I don't like the fact that you can't control your own future.
