Why Do You Write???

WRITIN IS A RELEASE I KNOW I CANT ALWAYS SAY WHAT I NEED TO SAY BUT SOMETIMESZ I JUST GET A BUG THAT FLOWS TO MY HAND U KNOW N I GOTTA GET IT ONTO PAPER......WRITING IS THE DEEPEST RELEASE OF RELIEF THAT U CAN EITHER SHARE OR KEEP TO URSELF.....

Because i have a problem with expressing myself, and showing emotions to people, and it helps me, this site helped me!

I write to get some of the thoughts out of my head... and sometimes it helps my problems.. also sometimes my imagination runs wild.. so i have to write somethings down =]

I write to express what i desire and what my thoughts really mean to me

I kept a joural after my life turn to hell on drugs
Then i started writting all the things in my pass
that brought me to my addiction and as I wrote
down the words i realize it felt good like i was
letting go of something. Like a release. Then it got
even better the first time I put them on poems &quotes and someone like them gave me a 5/5
man I love that feeling cy

I write because it lets me show and express my feelings in a healthy way.

I write because sometimes i have so much to say and no enough time to say it. or its a heathy way to realize stress and also is very good for the soul.

Ii WRiiTE BECAUSE iiT LETS MY EMOTiiONS OUT AND iiTS FUN. iiT KEEPS ME BUSY WHEN ii HAVE NOTHiiNG ELSE TO DO.

I write for the fun of it and helps me think as well cope with everyday life.

I think the reason I write is that I can expres myself in words.. It helps to write down how you feel so you can let go of things or get things straight..
I really enjoy writing and it's great when you can make other people happy or inspired with your poetry.

I write because it makes me happy and content

I simply just like writing. All the words I write are from the bottom of my heart, from the deep struggles and fears in my head. Putting my opinions and feelings on a paper (or screen :D) by my own hands is a lot more easier than spitting them out, right?

Its a way for me to decrib myself or how i feel

It makes me free!! :)

So I dont have to feel the pain anymore. And go outside with a smile in my face.

For no reason

I write because it encompasses my whole future, it also helps me to let out my frustration! my whole life i have wanted to write and i think i write really well! most of my poetry is inspired by past relationships and my current relationship! many of them are also inspireed by heart break and pain!

I write because it makes me see how i feel its very emotional thing when you read something that descibes you and what your about.....plus i write about things i cant talk to people about....

I write because I'm good at it, because I read a lot, because I have nothing better to do, because it's fun, because it releases my feeling and because of so much more...

I write because I put my feelings down. I like to express to people through words, they describe everything, words are like a drug, I love to write.

Because it hurts when i do. but it hurts more when i don't.

I write because i things that are inside of me that i can not speak out of my mouth can come out in writing and it can make a difference

I write because it helps me express the way i am feeling

I write because it allows me to say things most people dont want to hear. I write because it heals me to rid myself of the pain encountered in this world! Finally, I write because it enables my inner growth!

I write, oh too many to mention! haha!

I enjoy it and in many ways poetry is like the friend who cant judge you for what you feel xx

I write because ihave a feeing that no one understands me and that only reason i write on here is to see if there really is some one in this world that understands me.

Good question... But hard to answer...
I can't just sit and write something, it always has to start with an idea, a phrase... Something that rhymes or intrigues me.
When I write it down, I build off of it until I get it just right. I suppose I write for myself, really. People often tell me they don't understand my work, but I don't mind. It's only after I finish the piece that I can actually begin to understand it. Afterwards, though, I always feel like I've just uncovered another piece of myself. It's refreshing, really.

I like to write, but sometimes life gets in the way.
Inspiration is all around us, in the sky, in a look, a texture, well you know the mind wanders lonely as a cloud! lol

I find it interesting how our minds work. I myself find writing easier when I am happy, where as others that I know thrive creatively on sadness or anger!!
I am trying to explore my darker side as I believe it to be a deep well of material. Accessing this well is still tricky for me, so on I trudge!

For me Poetry is a way a way to relax .... to let out my feelings... things that i cannot say... i write..

I find the more you can express yourself on paper, the more able you become at expressing yourself within conversation.

I write because it's a way for me to express myself and my feelings. I write because it's important to me.

I write cause its something i can do thats me, its not my parents, or my friens. Its just me.

But i also write cause i need to tell someone or in this case something whats going on...and im not a very open person, so poetry and me just seem to work out.

I write poems because i think it is the only way to express my felings to the others because sometimes i have diificulties to express them when i have an eye contact with them, so i use writing instead of it and i think writing is the most gifted thing that i have.
