NEW Collaberation Contest!

I've noticed a lot of people are doing collaberations recently, so I decided to hold a collaberation contest.
What I want you to do is a collaberation with another person.
You can do either a short story or a poem.

~Rules~
Must reserve in order to avoid confusion.
30 Places available.
If you do a story:
Must be either Thriller/Horror or Romance
Minimum word count:250 Max word count 600

If you do a poem:
It can be any genre but must rhyme and be no longer than 100lines.
Both must be NEW.

Prizes:
1st Place-10 comments and votes each and both added to favourites
2nd Place-7 comments and votes each
3rd place 5 comments and votes each.
2 H/M 2 comments each.

Deadline: 15th March 2007
Winners will be posted 20th March.

Tattered butteflies

Acid rain poured on their colorful wings
Fallen in flight, controled like puppets by strings,
Too many poisioned needles penetrate their crust
Once beautiful and graceful, now figures of disgust,

Curse your pity for those beings soaked in ash,
Wipe those tears not with your hand but with a slash
Swallow your tears when their rotten skin touches you
Laid to rest in decadence like butterflies that never flew.

Hungry for your blood they push against your remains
Against those lifeless limbs hanging by these chains
To Hell's Gates they shall rise your tattered parts
Where demons nail your hollow soul with burning darts.

Your mouth shall be filled with their filthy leaks,
Punishment for your tongue that only evil speaks
Hush now because direful death comes calling,
Decadent your soul upon which maggots are crawling.

We actually just finished this one yesterday, late at night! Neither of us submitted it on our accounts, so I hope you consider it! If not tell me and we'll do another one.

Since you've been gone the house has been playing up
The door is tempermental and the windows are all a blur
The curtains watch for you coming back
The clock misses you, it wants to turn back time
The TV pretends it doesn't care but I sometimes catch it watching old re-runs...
All the plants have lost the will to live...
I think your couch is dead
The computer tries to comfort me, but you know what it's like, always something new to download.
The kitchen hates me by the way...
The toaster holds me to blame
And the cooker just spits at me
The kettle doesn't even boil anymore, it doesn't see the point
The fridge is getting fat... comfort eating
And the freezer feels the cold more these days.
The dishwasher didn't even notice you'd left.
It's hard since you've been gone...
I've not told the toilet yet, it thinks you're still on holiday
The bath just wants to run and wallow in it's misery
The mirror can't even bare to look at me..
I don't know why you didn't take it with you, you loved it so...
Your wardrobe feels empty since you've been gone
And the drawers aren't as open with me anymore
The lamps seem to have lost their shine
And at night, i hear the pillows crying as the bed dreams of your return... ©

i seriously am having doubts now, i havent been able to get on the comp. and now i have drama and other clubs and such. =[

My Tapestry

Reality is my fantasy,
My distant sort of dream
Because fate seems to outrun me,
Leaving me tattered at the seems.

My embroidery is broken,
Iâ??m a faded bloody stain,
Haunting memories of my heartbreak,
And my shattered soul remains
Sometimes a kind being,
Will sit and sew my life,
But the thread gets all knotted
Leaving me in agony and strife.
And people tend to judge me,
Because Iâ??m not as neat as them;
And although my thread is new,
It looks rotten, dirty, dead.

My pretty blue is grey now,
And my gold has turned to black ,
My cotton heart is ripped and frayed
free will is what I lack.

Iâ??m controlled by that needle,
That evil metal rod,
Stabbing, pricking, bleeding,
And I look up to my God,
Why do you do this?
Iâ??m a tapestry thatâ??s ugly;
He answers me kindly,
As in horrible, or lovely?

You see beauty is not everything,
You are pretty too,
Everyone has snags and frays,
And some greys turn back to blue,
You shouldnâ??t feel different,
The needle is youâ??re friend,
It guides you through your life
And when it stabs it mends.
