the love thorne

She cries
lies in bed
she wonders why
when her life is torn in two
There isn't much she can do
when all she does is think of you

Life goes on
and time grows near
her whole world
is made of fear
she waits for the day
when she is let out of here

Love is dear to her existence
keeps her alive
every day she strives to survive
She can't decide if she has lost hope
or just lost her mind
She's still got the only thing thats true

so caught up, she has lost track of time
Now she watches it pass her by
memories catch up
They will never fade
she runs passed the water and catches
her own gaze wanting your glare

All she needs now is for you to be there
she seeks the one who has always cared
The one who understands her pain
and has nothing to gain accept her love
The best are always the first to get sent above
All she ever wanted was to be loved

Her life seems unreal it doesn't last
is there a way for her to get past this?
She dreams of those midnight walks
those long talks
holding her in the rain
and it too will remain in her heart

Longing to hear your voice
she sobs in the memory
hands connected where they are strong
No longer standing she is now on the ground
not a sound as a rose petal hits the water
you once said it, to wither is not the way

My thoughts have changed but not of you
many times have gone
and you are where you belong
My body will break, and life will shatter
there is aching in my heart
but that doesn't matter

When all beauty is revealed
it doesn't change the healing of your heart
the flower will always die
and the petal will always wilt
but the Thorn will never fade
One thing she will not forget for all of her days

Surviving These Feelings

Seems only yesterday
You were right by my side
Guiding me through life
Comforting me when I cried

Seems only yesterday
You chased away my fears
Making me stand tall
And catching my falling tears.

Seems only yesterday
We promised 'always and forever
No matter what happens
We'll always be together.'

I thought I was doing quite well
Without you being around
But I'm drowning in memories
I'm suddenly so down.

I thought that I had moved on
Seems I haven't finished healing
So I'll continue to mask my pain
While I'm surviving these feelings.

can i have where did we go? seeing as thats the onlt title not reserved or anything..at least according to the top...ill write it, and if it was already taken, then i'll just remove it from the contest but ill do it just in case:)

Where did we go? What did we do?
Do you even care that I still love you?
Why did you leave, leave me alone?
Do you not care you left me cold as stone?

Where did we go? What happened to us?
Now who will I hold hands with on the bus?
Is there a reason you broke my heart?
Was it all a lie from the very start?

Where did we go? Will you come back?
Or will I be here forever in the eternal black?
Will you ever love me again?
Or will we forever just be friends?

Do you not care that I love you so much,
That I’d give anything for one last touch?

Where Did We Go

I'm looking at that photograph we smiled to each other
And looking so happy,looking like a new wed
But nowadays everybody got strange to everyone
Everyone is being so heartless to even loved ones

Everything's improving,everything's different
But why do anybody needs to change?
That's what is wrong,we have to learn
To stay ourself and hold life and love tightly
That's how you will understand this world's worthy

Then you came to me,in my mind a lot of thought
You just held me down with your faint face
I understood there left no Us,just he and me
When i tried to explain this to him,he just walked away
I wonder if he even thought about my question to him
I asked while he was leaving
"Where did we go?"

Who does she think she is,
To steal your heart away?
You were in the palm of my hand
Seems like yesterday.

I lost my voice for a moment
And lost my chance forever.
Daydreams are the only time
When we'll be together.

It's not fair on my heart,
Or on these tear-stained eyes.
If you would leave, I'd be okay
But I can see you day and night.

I'll watch a love meant for us
Grow with someone else.
I'll put my feelings back upon
Their too familiar shelf.

Time heals too slow for me.
Feels like I'm living in the past.
I'm the one who loved you first.
But she'll love you last.
