I sent a love poem to the girl that i am in love with, and she said "Wow. Thanks."

Should i be as heartbroken as i feel?

omg, i am so sry that she didn't take it better. that poem is way sweet. i know that you were hoping for something more..but at least now she knows how you feel. maybe she just didn't know what else to say. it sucks, but you never know, maybe later on down she'll realize her feelings for you or something...sry though:(

Maybe she just didn't know what to say, recieving a poem can make people feel so shy and sometimes, totally speechless.
Give her a little bit of time or maybe ask her what she thought of it a little later.

ouch, cuz that poem was really sweet. did she verbally tell you or did she email/msg you about it? cuz if she verbally told you, then she could have just not known what to say. my advice is to maybe bring it up the next time you see her, like say "so what did you think of the poem i gave you?" or something like that

Don't feel heartbroken, David. I agree with Gem, If I recieved a letter like that I wouldn't know what to do or to say. Trust me, give this girl some time; who's to know she'll be the one coming to you about it?
