The inspiration to write

Has anyone ever had a moment when they're listening to music, and all of a sudden, the gears in your mind starting turning? I get it a lot and notice that when I get going and the music continues to play, I write things that may not have come to mind before. If you have had this, what kind of music and what did you write. It doesn't even have to be written. It could be something you did!

This happens to me a lot, especially if the music is Coldplay, and especially if it's in the middle of the night ^_^

I do the same thing. If I am listening to orchestra music, and it is a sad scene in a movie or just sad, then my writing soars and just takes off.

I like listening to orchestra music too! I can write sad poems during a sad song and vise versa.

When I listen to a FF song or something I smile and think of how lucky the characters are... I guess that you cant tell what I;m listening to.

I get the same thing! Esspecially when I am listening to the song "To Zanerkand" From Final Fantasy, I get really into writing. that reminds me...

Personally it depends on my mood, I will write while listening to music, or I won't. I will write outside, or inside. I'll write in the car, eating, watching T.V., doing homework, in class, etc. I will write whenever I feel in the mood, could be a good thing, could be a bad thing, depending on my out look for that day. Inspiration comes from everything and anything for me.

music gets me going, adn sometimes, it's completely the music. I get images in my head, and it kind of creates something from within. I get a lot of inspirtation from music. It doesn't nessasarily reflect upon life, but it kind of reflects upon the music itself...

Definitely . Music gets me moving & my brain working . It can trigger somethin` in my heart that was shoved back or forgotten -- & I start writing . Plus, musiq is where I get most of my inspiration .

Yes. I get it. Music is a big part of everyones life, and to some people it can help to spur inspiration and motivation! It's a great thing.

music really inspires me to write! i was at school one time and i was listening to a classical some so i started writing something happy and about love, but sometimes i'll be at home and i'll be listening to avril lavigne or my chemical romance (anything alternative or rock) and i will start writing a sad poem. the music that i am listenign to really influences the type of poems that i write!

Silence inspires me not music,the first line comes to my mind and others just make me create the story of the poem,i live this poems not just write them..
