I think it's best to be borderline. Though personally I'm a pessimist it is a very depressing way to view life. But having optimist friends has shown me time and time again how dissapointing it is for optimists when something goes wrong after having such high hopes for something working out. Neither can possibly be better than the other. |

Hence my point that realism is the best |

If we just dealt with it, this poetry website would have zero websites. We need to deal with something pessimistically or optimistically so that we can reassure ourselves that something will happen, good or bad. Realism is true, stating the obvious, but it is just... too dull and too bleak. |

That, also, is where eccentricity and the average joe are opposites. Eccentrics look on the crazy side, average joes are just realists who only see things as they are... in other words, would read a poem and see no meaning... only words... |

No matter what our perspective on the matter, we will still look through the subject through the same eyes, unable to change our opinions even if we wanted to. |

No, narcissism is extreme self-ego and an attraction to someone's own image (in my own words. I think that is correct....) |
IdTakeABulletForYou
Wouldn't that mean that a person is extremely proud of themselves and attracted to them selves due to the thought that they have and can achieve perfection? |

*In my words, it takes one question to figure out if you are narcissistic, and two for optimistic and pessimistic* |

In the hope that if you don't look forward to something, and nothing happens, you won't have to deal with the dissappointment. |
