soooooo sorry!

My best friend Nikki has been treating me differently lately. It was like I was invisible and I just didn't matter. I had no idea why. It just seemed to come out of no where and I was heart broken.

Then a friend of ours who's mom is best friends with my mom told her mom that Nikki was upset because one day she was talking to me about how nervous she was about the solo she had to sing for music class and I(having been on stage sing solos since I was seven) said I'd stand behind the door and she could lip sync. She took this as saying that she can't sing but I didn't mean it like that!! She was nervous and I was just trying to cheer her up by joking that if she lip-synced(uh sp?) then she wouldn't have to sing.

I feel aweful! I've screwed up in the past and she always just forgave me but... oh I don't know if I can make this up to her.

AND she told a whole lot of people around school that I said she can't sing which is why everyone seems to hate me lately. How do I tell 500 people (yeah 500) that it was all just a misunderstanding?!

tell her that you didn't mean it like that at all you were trying to make her happier and not feel so nervous/shy and hopefully if she understands she can undo the hate, plus to make you feel less bad she's overreacting about it.
