No...you are going out with him for him right? Not for his friends? If you don't like his friend then maybe you can try not to hang around them. Hope my advice was useful.

Tell him you don't really like his friends (DON'T make it sound like you want him to leave his friends because you shouldn't and that is way too controlling), and he should automatically stop hanging around them while with you (he'll still be friends with them though and you should be okay with that).

If your questioning whether to dump your boyfriend over something so trivial, do it now and save him the heartache of going out with you if thats what you'd dump him over

You need to get over it, if it's just his friends you don't like. His friends are supposed to be more important to him than you are, just as your friends should be more important to you. (I say that assuming that you aren't in a serious, long-term relationship).

If his friends are influencing him, or encouraging him to do stuff that you don't like, that involves you- then you should talk to him. He should stop, if not then there's nothing else you can do but leave him.
