I want to hear anyone's cute love story!! I want to hear about how you fell in love with the most amazing guy ever, or anything sweet like that!!

Yes, I know there was another post like this before, but it's lost in the depths of the Disscussion Board. Sadly, because it was really sweet, and anyway, I would love to hear your sweet love stories!!!

Here's mine! Ok, so anyway, I was really hurting, because this guy I liked told me it wasn't going to work out. Which really made me sad (and mad), because he had started the whole thing in the first place, but anyway, my friend dragged me to my school's Snowfest dance. And while I was there, I ended up meeting the nicest guy ever. Well we talked and danced all night!! A couple of days later, we went to the movies with a bunch of friends, and he asked me to dinner and a movie!! So, now I have the most amazing boyfriend. I am so happy, because I never thought anything like this would ever happen to me.

So anyway, enough about me, I want to hear your stories, lots of them!! Doesn't even have to be about you, it can be about your friends, or your parents or anybody!!

okay so mine was.........
i had just broke up with my boyfriend for my best firned. at first he didnt no i liked him. and then we started talkin. i told him that i broke up with my last boyfirned for him and he said that he had liked me for about 3 months.all my friends b 4 that always said that me and him would end up together and i said nahh were just friend. so we were at slapshotz and he took me by the hand and looked into my eyes and said baby i love you. and now we have been together since. it was so cute!! i

Ok.. long story now, lol.
I saw him in Media when i first started college and basically though of him as 'Cute media guy' but he had a girlfriend so i left it, little knowing he was crushing on me at the same time.

Anyway, i was getting the bus one day with my new college friends about two months afterwards and he was getting on the bus to and it tured out all my new friends were his old friends from school (he's a year older) so we started chatting and got along really well in a shared interest of burning a McDonalds toy, lol.

I started to get the same bus as him every day (even if it meant waiting around but he didn't know that, lol) and we flirted and the feelings grew. We even realised that as kids, we used to play together cos my little brother was friends with his little cousins. Plus his aunty and uncle lived two doors from us and my step mom knew his dad who used to live on my street as a kid

The one day i stayed on the bus til the bus station cos we lost track of time after everyone got off and started talking.
He then said, "Are you cold? Cos if you are, i could give you a hug?"
I wasn't gonna say no to that so i gave him a hug and then we both got really shy with each other.

About a week later, after college. My friend told me that Marcus had confided in her that he liked me and as she got off the bus, the cow (in a nice way) blurted out to me in front of everyone, "Marcus likes you". Marcus went red and as she left she sang, "And the funny thing is, she likes you too".
I could have killed her but it gave us the push we needed.
He still had this girlfriend but he was scared of leaving her cos she was pretty abusive and had a tight hold on him.
But after a month of us spending time together and falling in love, it was getting harder for me to pretend nothing was wrong.

On the 1st Febuary 2005, he went into hospital with his knee and Sarah didn't go with him cos she had a party to go to. (some gf) so i stepped in despite hating hospitals.
After four hours, i eventually got him home and went home myself to a phone call.
Marcus told me he had finished it with Sarah cos his feelings were to strong for me and he loved me
That was all i needed.
The next day we had our first official kiss as boyfriend and girlfriend.

And today? We're still together. Getting married in two years and moving in together in 3 months. We even have our kids names planned and our careers intertwined. There's nothing we can't talk about and he accepts me for who i am and vice versa. I practically live at his house and his parents have told him they think of me as a daughter. =) His dad even offered to walk me down the aisle when we get married.

When I first met my future husband (looong story, but we both feel the same way even though we are only 16) I was 13. I was new to my middle school and he was in my art class. After seeing him, not having talked to him yet, I told my new girl friend, soon to be my best friend, that I was going to marry him. I didn't know his name, or anything about him, for that matter. I was struck with such an overwhelming sense of what someone might call puppy love. After spending a year mulling over the idea, I finally talked to him about it. He was so suprised because he had felt the same way about me since I had first moved there, but he was afraid that I wouldn't like him. It was love from the start. We dated for 3 months, and because of some outside problems, (like him moving =[ ) we broke it off, but continue to talk often. During one of our more deep convos, I told him that I had fell in love with him and not to freak him out, but when I first saw him, I knew that I was going to marry him when I got older. To my suprise, he told me that he had said the same thing to another friend when he first saw me. With him, I could tell him anything and not feel that stupidness, you know what I mean? Now, we send each other letters, and plan on seeing each other over the summer. I haven't seen him since he moved away at the end of 8 grade. I'm now in 10th. I'm actually awaiting his phone call soon. I still get the butterflies in my stomach and my heart does this...er...thing, I can't really explain it, but I feel an overwhelmingly amount of happiness. It's indescribable.

Okay. This is how me n my man Chris met.

I was staying at my friend Courtneys house with her and her lil brother that lives there 24/7. And she called him over on the phone and told him that she had a friend that he would just love. So he comes over 15 minutes later and Courtney shoves me out of the kitchen door way in the back and made me walk to the front yard. And I could see him mouth the words "God Da_n is she hot" i was blushing so bad. By this time Courtney was in the porch watching with her brother Mikey. And he's like would you go out with me and I'm like sure. But I had to go with Courtney cuz our pizza was getting cold and we all told Chris to stay but yeah by the time we all got back out he left. I was teed off at him but Courtney was hysterically laughing becasue she thought it was so funny the way i was mad. Chris is starts laughing when im mad too. But anyways he called later that day because he was going to High Rollers with me, Courtney and Mikey. And he cals and is like I'm sorry Summer but I had to leave cuz I heard my momma calling and im like okay. He's like I didnt do the proper asking you out so here it is Will you date me? And I answer yes again. And he told me that he'll be over in 10 minutes to see me before he takes the bus to High Rollers. So he comes over again and about 5 minutes later he had to go take the bus to High Rollers and me Courtney and Mikey and one of his friends Wayne were wating til 6 PM comes. So the time comes and we all go to High Rollers. I had the most amazing night there.

Sunday comes and me and courtney had to go straight home cuz her mom picked us both up early. *FREAKIN 10 AM and we're all still sleeping* . So yeah later that day I called Chris and he's like um how did u get my number and im like you called courtneys house so many times i rememberd it. so yeah.

now its going to be a year March 14th.

It doesn't even have to be about you, it can be about anybody you know!! Parents, friends, grandparents, aunts.. etc etc....

Hmmm. Back when I was in tenth grade, I did a biography on my grandpa. He died before I was born, so it was interesting to learn about him. I read a lot of the letters that he and my grandma sent back and forth while they were engaged, and also when he was overseas in world war 2.

They met at a dance... and my grandma wouldn't dance with him. She thought he was too cocky ; ). But he must have been pretty persuasive, because, lo and behold, I think they were engaged within three months. Some of their letters are so cute. My grandpa writes something like: "You left three hours ago, and it feels like I've had a lump the size of a pumpkin in my throat this whole time. I can still smell your perfume in the air, and it makes me miss you something aweful. Lyle says you "smile with your eyes," and Nila agrees with me that you are -beautiful-."

Heh, that's all I can remember at the moment. They can be very sweet : )

Awww.. that is the sweetest thing, It is like old movie style love type of thing, how nice. It's so good to hear something good!! I've got another cute love story as well, kinda in the same neighborhood...

Well, my friends father was in the Navy, and his mom didn't want him go alone to Japan, so she went with him, and my friend actually ended up being born in Japan. I thought that was the sweetest thing ever, because she went with him!

lol, well, call me a sap, but I think these are some of the most amazing things that happen to people. Does anyone else have a story to share??

alright I have another one, since you brought up grandparents.

My grandma lived in NYC and so did my grandfather. The first time my grandma saw my grandfather, the first thing she did was turn to her best friend and she said, "I'm going to marry him." She had no idea who he was or even if he had any interest in her, but they finally were married on my grandma's 19th birthday. They've been together I think 42 years... Goes to show you love at first sight is possible.

now, here's an update to my love story that I posted earlier in the topic.

Today (2.26) I called him up and basically told him that I still loved him and that everything that I did in the past was so stupid and that I hate myself for hurting him and leaving him the way I did in December... =[ After talking for almost an hour, he had to get off, and I hate that, but I was like, "so...?" and he was like "you know the answer...yes" It was the best moment. I really wish that I could be there with him, but I know that I will see him soon (he lives four hours away if I failed to mention that earlier)

ive been inspired by the grandparents stories to tell mine:

so my grandfather was staying at a hotel in Wales, that was owned by my grandma's family. she was working behind the desk and he approached her to ask her out. you have to know my grandma to know she is a very independant women. so he asked her out and she said no. a few days later he asked her again and she still said no. then the next day he asked her to go to this Village Ball thing with him. and she agreed on the condition that it was not a date, and she paid for her own ticket.
he allowed her to do so and they have been together for 52 years.

i want a love like that :)

I'm going to add another story that I just thought of. It sounds like a movie. This girl I know was telling me about how her ancestors got to America. Apparently, way back when, her great-great(-great?) grandmother was from a noble Scottish family. However, against all the rules and expectations, she fell passionately in love with the stable boy who worked at the home. When her father found out, he disowned her and banished them both, so they fled to America.

How's that for drama?

Ooo, if it doesn't have to be about ourselves, i have one about my fiance's parents.

Debbie (his mom) was at a party when she was 19 and Steve (his dad) was there too. Now the two had never spoken but Debbie was talking to her friends when she saw him and after staring at him for a bit said, "I'm going to marry him"
Now everyone laughed, including Steve when he heard about it.
But he and Debbie started talking, then eventually going out and six weeks after that night, they got married!
They went on to have three daughters, Mary, Mindy and Melanie. And last but not least, my gorge boy, Marcus.
So we all think Debbie is a witch, lol. Cos she was right about marrying him and nearly 30 years later, they have just become grandparents Mindy's daughter (and my niece) Megan and soon to Mary's daughter (and my second niece) Alexandra who's due in June.
So hows that for a happy story?
If me and Marcus are half as happy as them, we'll count ourselves blessed =)

Yeah well, my grandparents met through some friends, and as soon as my grandfather saw my grandmother, it was love at first sight, but only for him. He told my grandmother "I'm going to marry you" and she said "You're crazy" and next time they saw each other he said it again and this time she said "You're going to go to hell for lying" and he said "I will go to hell if I'm lying, but I assure you that I'm going to heaven for telling the truth" and so my grandmother finally gave him a chance and they dated and she started to like him and they got married and fell so in love with each other that they had 7 children and suffered through everything together and they were married until the day they died and I believe they are in heaven still loving each other like the had just fell in love.

I WENT TO THE MALL WITH MY COUSIN AND MET THIS GUY UP THERE AND BY THE END OF THE NIGHT WE REALLY LIKED EACH OTHER SO WE STARTED DATING WE DATED FOR 4 MONTHS THEN MY DAD TOLD ME I COULD NEVER SEE HIM AGAIN BECAUSE HE THOUGHT ME AND THE GUY (TYLER) WERE GETTING TO SERIOU WE WERE BOTH HEART BROKEN I CRIED EVERYDAY FOR A MONTH. I TRIED TO GET OVER HIM BUT NEVER COULD I WNET INTO DEPRESSION AND DIDNT CARE ABOUT ANYTHING. A FEW MONTHS LATER I GET AN EMAIL FROM TYLER HE SAYS HE STILL LOVES ME AND ALWAYS HAS AND IF IT IS OKAY WITH ME HE WANTS TO COME SEE ME I TOLD HIM MY DAD WONT ALLOW IT AND HE SAID HE DIDNT CARE HE HAD TO SEE ME SO HE CAME OVER WHILE MY DAD WAS GONE BUT MY DAD SHOWED UP BEFORE HE LEFT TYLER TALKED TO MY DAD AND NOW WE HAVE BEEN DATING AGAIN FOR ALMOST 4 MONTHS WE KNOW IT IS TRUE LOVE AND PLAN TO GET MARRIED AS SOON AS I GRADUATE..... I GOT MY HAPPILY EVER AFTER DID YOU????

ill tell you a really cute story. it didnt work out its just about what love can make you do.
a few years ago...
so at our school on valentines day we had a valentines day wall. you would pay 2 dollars for a heart, you write whatever you want on it and then they post it up on valentines day infront of the whole school. so i had been really sick for about 3 weeks. and my first day back was valentines day, when i got to school everyone was like "aww have you seen it!?" but i had no idea what everyone was talking about so i go with a couple of friens to the valentines day wall and sure enough there is a heart that says : dear nic, i love you, will you go out with me. love max. : cutest thing of life! lol all day i heard " have you said yes?" and there was alot of pressure andi didnt think it was right to say yes if i didnt like him, so i said no. he was really upset but it will always be the cutest thing a guy has done for me.

Ok, well I am extremely excited, because I get to go to Prom!! Omg! YAY! I am soooo happy! I can't wait!

Erm.. not really a story but an update and maybe advice if you can give it to me..

Not next weekend but the next, me and Marcus are housesitting his sisters house for three nights and four days (yay!) cos she, her husband and my new little niece are going up to London to visit the grandrents.
Now, last time we housesitted for his other sister, he proposed to me.
How the hell am i supposed to top that?
I want to so something special for him and luckily i get paid that weekend so i already know i'm cooking him dinner and buying stuff like candles and bubble bath and junk. And i already have the DVD picked out (Moulin Rouge =)
But i want to do something totally totally special for after the movie...
