Why is it so easy for....

Why is it so easy for guys to get over the girls, but it takes forever for the girls to get over the guy!??

lol its not that the guy didnt care for u were just more emotional than guys are thats the only thing i would know of to tell you i dont really think there "an anwser" to ur question we all wonder the same thing

like they don't feel guilty.. wait not guilty but.. they don't feel bad.. that they're going out with someone else. Or to like someone else...

there's cheating, or guys can just easily get over the chick. soo easily.... ugh.. i don't even know what i'm trying to say lol

I don't think it's easier for a guy to get over a girl, but most males would just handle it differently than a female. Stereotypically, are emotional. On that same note, men feel that emotion is a weakness, and therefore attempt to hide it.

They just deal with their feelings differently, that's all.

ohhh...well i do have to agree with you on that as well....it's just sometimes... guys needing to be tough and not ask for directions when they're lost just get soo annoying! omg lol.. but yeah i guess they have a different way of handling things.. if only they can show it...

guys actually do care, a lot. they just dont show it. and often they move on to somebody else quickly to cope with the break up.

i know this cause i hang out with a lot of guys, and i see it happen all the time.

lol..u cant generalise, some guys do care a lot.
but i guess u and me arnt lucky girls coz we seem to be wondering bout the same thing. i just broke up, and its so easy for him to behave like nothing happened.
i like the idea of moving on to somebody else quickly to cope with the break up...maybe we should try that too.... ;-)

i think that guys take just as much time as girls do to get over someone...

well most of them.. i mean of course there is going to be the couple of jerks.. but some girls are like that to..

anyways... back to the whole getting over people thing... i think that like ^^ said... guys hide it a lot better...

also i think that girls sometimes want the guy to know they're still miserable without them... they dont even try to hide that their sad and are okay with crying in front of the guys.... and try making it obvious that their still sad... but pretend they dont know they're being obvious... did you get that.. i know a lil confuzing i SUCK MAJOR at explaining stuff but what....

also i think girls sometimes enjoy haveing a crush.... they enjoy wallowing and having someone to cry over and love and miss.... sometimes girls dont get over guys not because they cant but simply because they dont want to... but they get scared to let go because letting go is so unsure... and they dont know what to do with themselves.. some girls dont know what to do if they're not with a guy or crying over one....

i know that sounds horrible but its true... for SOME girls ofcrouse i mean you can ever talk for everybody ...

anyways.... yeah ... thats what i think..

and then theres always the simple one which is that maybe the girl just liked the guy more than he liked her... but thats not because guys are jerks.. i think thats because we get attached faster...

My ex has been trying to get me back for almost three years and even when he dated a girl briefly last year, he'd call me the one or two times they broke up because he felt he needed to talk to someone.

I don't think it's easier for guys to get over girls... I think it's just that they don't show it, which is why we assume that they're over their ex. They keep it all inside.

Well maybe I'm just a really weird girl then, but I would never let the guy that hurt me see that he hurt me, I would hold up my head, and act like nothing was the matter, but maybe I'm just odd.. idk, but that's what I do, I'd NEVER let them have the satisfaction of knowing they hurt me. I would never let him see it. I think guys are like that as well... idk, I'm defitnely no guy expert. (lol, wow.. that sounds bad doesn't it....) Idk, I guess I just have to much pride... lol ^_^

Guys don't like to admit that their not over you. When they are alone they think about you alot and hurt just like we do. We are more open they tend to close up. Some guys are open but they get crap for it.

Erm I don't know about you. But I once REALLY liked this guy; it turned out he had no interest in me but my friend. Hah, what a pig. Well, It didn't take 'forever' for me to forget him, I saw him every day for the next two years, as well as my friend and got on with life.

But now I'm in love ALL over again :) Heh.
