How do you get over somebody you really care about?

I know I'm only 13, and most people say you can't love anybody yet(which I agree!) So, I'm going to say, I really care about them.
Anywho, There's this person, who as you have already heard, also likes my best friend. I can't get them out of my mind. I can't get over and forget about them, even though it would be better for everybody. They are not going out, but everybody knows that they like each other. Well, he told his best friend that he only he likes her as a friend, but he is always staring at her, and blushes a lot when somebody talks about her around him. He blushes a lot though. I really don't think he is going to take any interest towards me though. I feel small when I am in the same room as both of them. Their chemistry is that strong.
Bottom line is, I really really like somebody, but they don't like me more than a friend, and most signs say he likes my best friend more than me. What do I do???

Just, give it time. It may not seem like it, but it will eventually go away and you will find someone who you will be happy with. I know how hard it is. When I was 13 I was "in love" with a guy who was 20. I liked him a lot and was convinced that when I was older I would marry him, and if he would talk to another girl I would get jealous and hurt and wish that he would talk to me like that. But eventually I moved on, because I realized that he wasn't my type. Now he's happily married, and I, 17, have grown up a lot and realize that there is someone out there for me. It'll only take time to find him. So just, don't give up hope, but give it time. The pain will go away eventually :)

Give it timee` . You can`t make yur`self or force your`self to stop caring & get over them . Age ain`t nutin` but a number, sweetie` . Don`t let that get in the way . I personally don`t believe in love, but whateverr` . Just let everything flow & go the way they go . Trust me, it`s faster than TRYiNG to get over them . When I tried two years ago, it just made it harder to get over them . So yeahh` . haha
