Whyd he break up with me if he still liked me? PLEASE HELP

I posted a question for help a little while before about the same sitch.
Well, this new kid in school, hes my new friend. We take about everything from who we crush on to everything about our past. He even told me something no one knows, not even his parents. He said tht he wants me so bad but hed have to break up with his crush/gf.
Then he started hinting that he wanted to go to the movies, and then he asked if I liked the movie, "Muisc and Lyrics". I said yeah its good. And then he asked if I wanted to go with him to see it that weekend as "just friends". So i said that would be awesome.
Then a day later he said, "Im really sorry but I cant go o the movies on Saturday, how about Wednesday?"
So I said yah it doesnt matter. Then a day later he told me he got in trouble and now we cant go at all.
A few days later we were talking, (for 5 days straight we would talk online from 8 pm-midnite) and he wanted to hear a song I had wrote. So I sent it to him. Then, cuz he loved it so much, he gave me a cyber kiss and hug then said if he was with me rite now he would have done tht in person. Then he asked me out. And I said yes and we were so happy and speechless. And we played a game....he said i love you, and i said i love you more, but he ended up winning cuz he said he loved me infinity.

The next day, he had to go to his old home town for the weekend, so I couldnt see him or call him. But he messaged me on myspace saying that he had only got dumped from his gf (i didnt know he had one) three hours before he asked me out and that it was wrong so we should wait a while first. Basically he dumped me cuz he was an idiot. He got all sad cuz he thought I was gonna hate him, and had had so much going on in his life at the time. He cuts, and his sister saw them, and was gonna tell his father. And when I sent him a song about how he hurt me, he signed off and came back and said that I made him cry. And tht he should kill himself cuz he didnt deserve to live, but i told him i wasnt mad so he wouldnt kill himself. He gave me his number and i called him a day later to talk like nothing happened. But he has been calling me everyday just to talk. And he said tht he loves my songs and loves to talk to me but I dont get it. He still loves me, and I know he said he should leave space between realtionships so he broke up with me and its been another week. And the suspense is confusing. Whyd he do tht? Do you think its over between us?

I don't think it's over, I think he just needs a little time. Hope this helped...

Okay it was a little confusing to read BUT.. just give him a lil time to get everything in order before you guys try to start right back into it all.

Ahh. I had a friend sorta like that. He's just confused, and needed someone to hold onto. Probably still does. He is probably afraid of something, and you probably need to find that out.
