This is the first poem I've written that doesn't rhyme.

As I gaze into your eyes
I see the love you have for me
And that you care for me so
I know you'll always be there

No matter what happens

We're crazy in love; like one of those forbidden romance movies.
So incapable of being indissoluble [strings attached].
Spend our days at the beach & nights by the moonlight.
Compatible; most people say [so perfectly matched].

Love; so deep nothing can stand in the way.
Conquering all mistakes, everything that goes wrong.
Happiness overwhelms our souls [like a cup over flowing].
Spinning in circles around each other to our favorite song.

Laughing endlessly, splashing around in the water.
Whispering adulating words in each others ears.
Cuddling by the warmth of sweet scenting candles.
Keeping one another safe from their fears.

Noticing; it's not only fairy tales or made up stories.
Wishes, fantasies, prayers, & dreams really do come true.
The man that has always accompanied me in my dreams,
I've come to find, that man was you.

Another Night

It's been another night,
Where I'll wait by the phone,
To listen for your phone call,
To tell me you made it home alright.

It's hard to be a firefighters volunteers girlfirend,
Knowing you could vanish in a second,
But I'll make it through just fine,
I got this far so I can make it to the end.

Baby, I can't believe I found you,
You're so amazing,
You've became my everything,
I dare won't let you go.

Everynight is a another night,
That I will hear our song,
Waiting for your phone call,
To hear your loving voice.

The way you talk with a southern accent,
Makes my head spin with laughter,
The way you tell me you love me,
Just makes my heart flutter.

Another night hearing your voice,
Is a night closer to holding you close,
Another night hearing your voice,
Is a night closer to living a life-long dream of mine.

The way you say ' I Love You ',
Or the way you sing to me,
Or the way we can talk about everything,
Keeps making me love you even harder.
