Ok. Sorry to say but you totally lost me. I have no flipping clue what your saying!

I think the rules need to be altered a bit. I can understand useless babbling, but if it's referring to entries we should be allowed to. Comments on poems make it entertaining and fun. That's what this website is for isnt it. To have fun? And sometimes people get lost, and they need clarifications.

I just think it's too much. Ooh- there is no way I'm private messaging. I chose not to let that happen. So what will I do about this in the future?

We have to private message if we have a question? Sorry, but isn't that a little far? I can understand not wanting to post useless things just to bump up a thread, but asking a question about the actual contest in the thread should not be against the rules.

    But whatever.

what if people in the contest but not the contest holder are the ones babling on in the forum... will the contest still be deleted.. cause then its not your fault

also.. what about reminders such as one more day or 1 week until contest

also... for ex. i did this i wanted more people to enter so i upped the stakes by adding a favorites award if i got a certain number of people.. is that okay?

agree with the asking a question thing.
what if other people have that some question, then the holder of the contest has to answer it like six times insted if someone were to ask in the contest then everyone whould have a better understanding of what to do..

    just my opinion..

^ Yeah, I think that's unfair, too. What exactly are we supposed to do if our contests are on the second page, yet hardly have any entries?

Okay, let me ask you another question then. What if there is a contest on the first page, and all the positions have been filled. Yet, on the second page, lies a different contest, without any entries? We're supposed to just let it sit there, while some contests on the first page are full? And really no matter what page they're on, it doesn't make a difference.

PLease don't, some contests will take weeks, and that's only because that is how it is to be judged.

What does it mean if a contest is locked? because i've come across a few that have been locked but i've been able to get into them..

It means that you can still view the contest, you just can't post in it.

Not to be mean or anything but if we stop talking on this we might clear more room for the contest and we won't have a problem now would we? no..

Spam maybe? I dunno but it's freaking annoying! I agree with the idea Bob has as well...it keeps the forum cleaner and is easier to find the newer contests. (: ... The contest holders can notify winners by PM'ing them about their win or something.

...This was supposed to go in the other thread about deleting contests after 2 days..whoops. :$
