Yea, like aimee said, a poem is a good way of expressing how you feel or,'to get him something that comes from the heart.' That is the reason why people write them lol. Moreover, it is very romantic :). Whatever you do, don't give him money lol. My cheap friends sometimes do that because they don't know what to get me as my birthday is merely 2 days away from christmas.
