I live next door to Colorado! Im from good ol' Utah with the best snow on earth! The funny thing is I just experienced this great snow for the first time ever! Yes, I went skiing for my first time this spring. Its awesome and the snow really is great...go figure! Is Colorado full of good snow too? Ive heard it is.
My grandma's family is from Illinois. Ive never been there, but all my mother's side of my family lives out there. What part of Illinois are ya from?

Well I live about 2hrs away from chicago and 40 mins from peoria and champagne. Its this twin city called Bloomington/Normal. I live in normal but you could be driving and all of the sudden your in Bloomington. It even confuses me. One of my friends goes to Utah because of her family and she loves it. I've always wanted to go to Utah on a ski trip or something of the sort. That woule be awesome. Ha. But i think its freezing here in the winter and it must be 2x's as worse. *shivers*

    South Jersey?

My grandma says that back east (AKA IL) is colder in the winter. It has to do with the humidity or something like that. Winter here isn't that bad at all.

Yeah it is cold here. One time it was so cold that we couldnt go to school because all the buses froze up,
plus it was just straight up freezing. Just a week ago it was like 30 degs. It sucks.

Haha that didnt take me long to find...here it is, it pretty much sums up Utah weather:

    It's all about perception --

60 above zero: Floridians turn on the heat. People in Utah plant gardens.

50 above zero: Californians shiver uncontrollably. People in Provo sunbathe.

40 above zero: Italian & English cars won't start. People in Utah drive with the windows down.

32 above zero: Distilled water freezes. The water in Utah Lake gets thicker.

20 above zero: Floridians don coats, thermal underwear, gloves and wool hats. People in Utah throw on a flannel shirt.

15 above zero: New York landlords finally turn up the heat. People in Utah have the last cookout before it gets cold.

Zero: People in Miami all die. Utahans close the windows.

10 below zero: Californians fly away to Mexico. People in Utah get out their winter coats.

25 below zero: Hollywood disintegrates. The Girl Scouts in Utah are selling cookies door to door.

40 below zero: Washington, DC runs out of hot air People in Utah let the dogs sleep indoors.

100 below zero: Santa Claus abandons the North Pole. Utahans get frustrated because they can't start the Mini-Van.

460 below zero: ALL atomic motion stops (absolute zero on the Kelvin scale.) People in Utah start saying..."Cold 'nuff fer ya?"

500 below zero: Hell freezes over. Utah Jazz win the NBA Championship

Theres also this saying about weather here: "If you don't like the weather here, wait 5 seconds, it'll change."
