Poetry is only what you make of it. It's the pouring out of a person't soul, it's wipping the slate clean, it's getting things off of your chest so you don't explode, it can even be writting it just for the sake of getting a grade in school. Poetry is everything and nothing, it is what is real & what isn't. |

Poetry is several things. Some people use it to make comedic or ridiculous rhymes while others use it to express themselves deeply or tell a story which will change people's way of thinking. I write poetry that is like that. In the end poetry is a way of explaining something about yourself to others and to yourself. |

I think poetry is a writing of your life through the words that you think of kind of like a selected autobiography that focuses on the big events or emotions in that time but thats just me |
