What do you think poetry is?

I say it's whatever you make it.

I think it's your soul.. and actually is poetry something that always listen to you.

Poetry to me is expressing and releasing all types of emotions.

Poetry is the espression of our thoughts or feeling in a beautyfully arranged order of words..

Poetry is something you belive you write emotions happyness sadness!

I think poetry is writing out your feelings.

I think poetry is written how you feel and sometimes what you want to feel

Poetry can be anything you want it to be, it can be song pictures or even the way you dress. So long as your expressing your own personality in some way. THAT is poetry.

Poetry is indescribable yet, self-explanatory.

Poetry is only what you make of it. It's the pouring out of a person't soul, it's wipping the slate clean, it's getting things off of your chest so you don't explode, it can even be writting it just for the sake of getting a grade in school. Poetry is everything and nothing, it is what is real & what isn't.

Poetry is several things. Some people use it to make comedic or ridiculous rhymes while others use it to express themselves deeply or tell a story which will change people's way of thinking. I write poetry that is like that. In the end poetry is a way of explaining something about yourself to others and to yourself.

Poetry is a glimpse into your inner conscienceness, that part of you that makes you dream about random things in your sleep, and makes you connect your thoughts in odd twisting bridges. Poetry is essence.

I think poetry is a writing of your life through the words that you think of kind of like a selected autobiography that focuses on the big events or emotions in that time but thats just me
