Exposing My Feelings

I did it. I told him how I felt about him, completely put myself out there...and nothing. I received nothing in return. Know what his response was?

"It's okay."

*sigh* This is why I don't tell men that I'm fond of how I feel. This is why I keep everything to myself. I understand that people hurt you unintentionally, but they still hurt you all the same. Some days I'm not a strong person. Today happens to be one of those days.

Do what you do for yourself, expect nothing in return. Do this and I can promise you that you will never be disappointed...only surprised.

To be positive- at least now you won't have to live with wondering what could have been. You took a chance, it didn't work this time, but try again. Maybe next time it will work. :)

i agree. you were really brave! ive never dared put myself out there like that. my trick is to make little subtle hints and see if they make little hints back, it seems to have worked so far.
