this contest is simple i want 10 people to reserve thier spots and i want a sad poem, i dont care if you cuss, i dont care if it is death , lost love, friends, i dont care something sad but NO NO NO suicide poems i have enough of my own, NO NO NO self harm either i have enough of those to, and i am working to get away from all that so yea i want sad poems but NO SUICEDE OR SELF HARM unless it is like the loss of a friend cause of it or a family member thanks.

She’s a burst of luminous colors; eyes always turning her way
Always has her head up high, as she walks through the school hall
Laughing and joking with friends; it’s just another perfect day
She looks so vigorous with her alluring smile, walking so tall

But does anyone really know the truth about this girl?

She hates being so gorgeous, because that’s all that they see
They don’t see deep down into her heart, or her soul
She acts flawless, because that’s who they want her to be
They don’t know that inside she’s lost all control

She’s petrified that they wouldn’t accept her if they knew
Everything that she has done, every mistake she has made
They don’t really know her; they don’t have a single clue
About how she has deceived, and how she has betrayed

Not ever again will her life be on the right track
She wants to get it all out, she wants to confess
But she’s messed up too many times, she can’t turn back
Behind her persuading act, she’s really not flawless

I see shadows moving around,
But nothing appears quite the same.

It's so dark in here,
Why doesn't anyone turn on the light?
What time is it now?
I thought we just finished breakfast.
Please answer me... Someone.

I remember walking in the park...
Just after my morning coffee.
I remember it was a clear blue sky.
I strolled along the thick green grass,
And watching the children play.

On my way back home,
A car ran a red light and struck me.
I remember so many people around me,
Asking if I was alright.
I remember telling them that I'm o.k.,
Stood back up and walking back home.

That was an hour ago...
I know my eyes are as wide as they can be,
But why can't I see?
What is happening to me?
Why is everything so dark and grey?

Life was full of colors and joy only yesterday,
Now it's dark and cold.
Why did this happen to me?
Images now exists only from my memories,
... just less then an hour ago.
My life...
Will never be the same...
Anymore.

Once, there was a girl
A sweet caring girl
Who's heart
belonged to the night.
The moon was her lover
The sun
her mother
and the stars were her friends
you could call it
love's first sight.
She stopped coming at night
to hang out with her friends
So she could be in some ones bed
So he could caress
her hair and her head.
The moon got lonely
The sun was worried
and the stars wouldn't come out to play
And the boy took her away.
He kept her to himself,
not letting her out to play.
But instead
Make her stay inside at night and play
His little fantasy games
Her life became hopless
One big mess
And soon, her heart belonged
To the boy.
She tried to get it back
but he hit her again and again
So she left just like that
And she packed up a sack
Of the pieces of the heart that was left
He came up from behind
Not letting her go away
And whispered into her ear while she struggled
Say good-bye to those games we played
Or you can listen to what I have to say
She chose the first choice
Not wanting to go back to that hell
And he made the little games end.
So the moon shine bright
To shed some light
So he can find his lover.
While the sun gives off heat
so she won't meet
any cold air
And the stars frolic in the sky
wondering

This is about a girl who is drawing a picture. She thinks the picture she was drawing is real, and falls in love with it... Then, realizes it is only 'Paper Make-Believe'...
