God does not take anyone. God does not exist. Sorry to rain on your parade. There is no devine reason why innocent lives should suddenly end. "God thought it was their time." Stop accepting the cruelties of the world, brushing them off as God's will. Please.

    Thats your Opinion.
    I personally believe in god.
And I think that god thought it was their time to go.

I believe in exactly what Daenerys Stormborn is saying.
I'm sick of "God" taking credit for every good thing that happens because MAN did it, not "God." So therefor I'm also sick of people blaming "God" when people die.

Things happen, don't let "God" take the credit, and don't blame things on him.

i heard this statement someone made on a t.v show they other week.

"maybe god exists in order for humans to have someone to blame things on"

just thought i'd say it. i dunno. but for some people it is so true

people say why does god have to let children die. when it actual fact we shouldn;t be blaming god but ourselves...society

but like bob said the question isn't really whether god exists. more the mere fact that why let the innocent be taken, when they've done nothing wrong

my scenario has nothing to do with children---one person who was 14, and one who was one week to 14. both were taken away by "He Who Is Holy" but i dont know how that decision was holy.

Dont question gods will. if he wants 2 take a child's life , then he will. if he wanted to take my life, ur life, and everyone's life away, trust me he will. theres no question about it.

besides the people who die as children are saved from this cold, sad and sick world. i think they are blessed.a baby is so pure from the evilness of man, and if god takes their life, i think they are protected from this evil sickness.

When it's time to go, it's time to go.
Age, gender, race.. has nothing to do with it.
Besides, i believe our body is just a shell that our soul is encased in untill we reach greater heights..

Or i could be talking a load of crap. Take your pick =)
    C'est le vie =)

I agree with gem. i think the only time u decide ur death is by suicide, not such a very good way of death.

Don't hold resentment...be thankful. Tears are shed and it causes pain but you don't know what he saved that kid from enduring in this world. You don't know the family and friends that needed that child's presence in heaven.

Ask God when you meet him at the gate...I'll be willing to bet his answer will make perfect sense.

Because he wants to, he can do whatver he ants. She/He can let you get raped. She/he can let you get murdered. She/He can let you get tortured. If its what she/he wants, then it's what she/he gets. And that's why she/he is loved by many because she/he can do whatever she/he wants.

God is a sick looney if he exists.

Oh, yes...he decided it was time for a 9 year old to be raped repeatedly by her father, abused, and killed. Yes.

Yeah, God thought it was time for your Mom to be hit by a car. She deserved to lie dying on the ground for 3 hours while God made up his mind. He needed time to think if he actually wanted her or not, right? Yeah, she's just a single mom with 3 kids. Her kids won't mind.

Yeah, my Dad's sister got cancer when she was 20. She died, but God thought it was a good idea, so tearing apart my entire family for a few years didn't matter. Who cares if my Dad was severely depressed for years and years. He still thinks about his sister and cries sometimes. That was over 30 years ago. Yep, God sure wanted his sister up in heaven. She was not ready to go, believe me. She loved life, but hey! Whatever.

My friend was shot in the head. Don't know who did it, but apparently God willed it. How lovely. Her parents are miserable, they will probably get a divorce because just looking at eachother is a reminder of their little girl.

Skrew God. He doesn't exist. If he did, I would be extremely angry with him. Maybe when "you get to heaven he'll have a reason for why you were raped and murdered." Maybe he'll erase your memory. Maybe he'll have a reason for you, crappy as it is, but your family down on Earth will never know that reason, until they die as well. Perhaps they'll kill themselves over your death, and never make it to heaven. Nice thought.

Well, not exactly children, but I've heard that when it comes to miscarriage, 'it's 'nature's way of weeding out the weak, and keeping them safe from greater problems.'

I think nature's a cold-hearted bitch. I don't think God has any role in it. The fact of the matter is that we're mortal, and human, and we're vulnerable to disease, complications, accidents, and death. It's not fair, especially when it happens to a child. That's also why I have a hard time believing God has any role.

But, who knows? Maybe their souls do have some higher purpose? I can't fathom what that would be, but then again I'm only human.

That's not being a bad mom, that's survivor skills. It hurt so bad you just pushed it away so it couldn't hurt you anymore.

    Daenerys Stormborn:

God didn't make that man rape that 9 year old. It was that man's free will. Which God gives us because he loves us so much.

  • ŘÅÇĦ♥

Yes he created everyone but they DO HAVE FREE WILL. If you want to worship the devil you can. God wouldn't tell you to worship the devil. That's insane. God knows what your going to do but he doesn't tell you to.
Bad people die too. and go to jail. He might take those people because he has a bigger plan, maybe taking that child/man/woman it might turn the family towards Christ.

I've almost lost a kid very very very close to me. it pulled my whole family back together, the fighting stopped. People joined and prayed. which influenced my choice to be a Christian.
If that kid dies you have the reasureance that he/she is going to be with God. It makes it so much easier to deal with. But for you that don't believe it's a question that haunts you. What happens to my loved one when he/she dies?
