The world comes alive
I sing very joyful songs
Along with the birds

A weeping willow,
Hangs over a land covered,
By fog that consumes

Moonlight glistening
Upon calm ocean waters --
Wishing on the stars

That was a Haiku that fed my senses with wonderful imagery...clear and distinct, and precise....the word choice was great too....such as 'ice' and 'concrete'...their juxtaposition really did it for me...wonderful write...thanks for participating...

The others were very nice too...but you know, someone has to be the winner...I specially had a really hard time choosing between the weeping willow and the winner...
