What should I do?

Aiight, here's the story ((I'll try not to make it too long...)) A lot has been going on in my family life. ex: parents fighting and then are back to normal (really weird), constant yelling at me (for no real reason), I got cut from softball (just one more thing to add to the list of disappointments in my family's list for me), etc. This past two weeks have been horrible. I got my 5 week progress report and I had 2 Bs (THE REST WERE A'S!!!) and I got yelled at for 30 mins. They told me this was unacceptable and etc.. (shocking, I know) Well, here's where the love comes in. I like this guy, a lot. He's a friend and we dated earlier in the year. He was the best bf I could've asked for. He was super sweet and everything was GREAT when I was around him. Here's the problem: my parents didn't like him. They kept putting ideas in my head that he was stupid and dragging me down and that he was all wrong and such... to the point where I started to believe them (( so not true!!!)) It tore us apart. He's still been in my life for all of this, and Thursday, I had had it up to here (^) [lol] and I had a huge breakdown in school. Usually, he wouldn't come up and say something to me, but he waited until I wasn't crying to make sure that I was okay. It hit me then (( I was still trying to hide it)) and I really want to know what should I do? He meant a lot to me and I just don't know how to go about this. I would like to get back together with him...
    ((Sorry if It's really Long))

Parents can be too harsh at times. They love us too much to see they are over doing the protection and expectation. As a fellow offspring of strict parents...I'd say get back with the dude...he sounds pretty good. If the relationship can work out...go for it...if you don't think it can work out...you don't want to add another thing to your up-to-here worry list. Think you can get away hiding it from your parents though? I do wth my relationship :D

My stepdad liked him... for a little while.. I could probably hide it. We do hang out with the same group of friends. How would I go about letting him know I like him...

Thanks. Just been here 2 days haha. It's pretty fun because of people like you!!!! :D

How much do you think he likes you? It's kind of a bias view to say guys to act first...but seriously...guys should act first haha. Try to pay more attention to him...talk to him more...be around him more...if he's smart enough..he'll pick up and ask...I hope haha

    YW :D!

I never know with him. His older brother tells me all the time that he still talks about me and even out Global teacher tells each of us that we still talk about each other ((different periods of teaching)). I would really hope that he would pick up on that, but I'm never sure with him. Should I ask my friend to subtly hint, or would that not work... hmmm... they ride the same bus and live two houses away from each other.

ahh...one of the oldest tricks in the book: use-a-friend
haha...I think it could work in this situation...cause you two know each other well enough and have a connection. It's just the "out in the open" about your feelings that's missing. Give it a shot. If it fails...you can still deny it haha
