parents married?

ALot of people don't believe in marriage because of their parents. Are your parents still married? What's the actual percentage??? Mine are married. 25 years strong.

My parents are a month away from their 27th anniversary and they are just as in love as they were when they first got married.
I really hope my marriage can be as great as their's.

Yes, mine are still happily married. Actually though, I thinks its about 50% of marriages don't work out... It's really quite sad....

my parents were married for 14 years as well but have been divorced for about 5 years now :( but it was definitely for the best.

My parents are still together. I think they have bin together for about 21 yrs. Most of my friend's parents are not together. My parents fight, but it has never been anything too serious.

wow it almost looks like 14 years is one of the cut off dates. Does it affect the way you think of marriage when your parents get divorced??

*sigh* i just want to get married.

37 years...thats a frickin long time too. and i dont want to get married until i am absolutely certain that is who i want to be with for the rest of my life.

Nope,they divorced two years ago and they were the worst couple i have ever met
My dad cheated my mum on and on when they were married

But my hope is strong about my future wedding
Because my mum and dad are like child,they don't behave as their age
But my swettie does and i will behave as a real parent

25 years for my parents...

From them...I see that arranged marriage can work and I will soon follow steps haha.

Mine were together for 16, torturous years.
