Prom

Prom time is almost here, and that makes me uber happy because I get to go this year!! Ok, so now I am going to jump up and down excitedly and do the happy dance a little bit, then tell you about my dress!! Ok, so it's light pink, and really low cut in the back, floor length and slinky!! I am SOOO excited, I want to hear about others dresses for Prom!!

I would LOVE to hear about your dresses/dates/anything at all you want to talk about Prom!! YAY!! ^_^

I live in Chile... and we don't have "prom" here... what exactly is prom, anyway. That's the end of the school year dance, or when you leave school?
When people get into uni here the older students get the younger ones and rip their clothes, throw egg, oil and a whole lot of other disgusting stuff on them and make them walk out on the street... and when they finish school or university sometimes they girls will come to the last day in pants and the guys in dresses... or really just do any other wild and stupid thing they can think of.

I happen to have a dress I'm saving for a formal occasion. It's black, white, with a blue flower pattern at the bottom and it looks like it's like a slip with a lace covering over the top... quite cute, in my opinion.
But, unfortunately, I haven't gotten a chance to wear it yet.

It's a big Formal dance at the end of the school year. Mainly it's for Seniors and Juniors, and if you are younger, then an older student has to ask you to go. But you get to get all dressed up and stuff, it's really quite fun!!

Kinda sounds like fun lol. Last year, for a senior prank, the seniors camped out in front of the High School, and put a bra on the sign coming into the school, it was pretty funny.

I want to go with my guy friend as friends but one of our friends asked him for me and he said no. Should I ask in person? I don't know if he doesn't want to go/ doesn't want to go with me/ or if it's because of all the rumors that we're dating.

Well,just ask, say it doesn't mean we're dating but it wud jus be one night. I'm sure he has no reason 2 say no. And if he does then... it's his loss lol.

Well if you had a friend ask for you, i would darn straight say no too.... be brave and ask him and im sure he will...

I went to my prom last year. One of my guy friends asked me. It was really fun. I had this slinky black dress with spaghetti straps and purple and silver sparkley designs all over it. It was the best...and the best part is that I get to go to another prom this year because my best friend who is a year younger than me asked me to her prom this year because she doesn't have a date to go with.

Two years ago, my prom dress was black, lowcut on both sides and thin thin straps. It almost brushed the floor and i wore it with strappy high heels with a diamante buckle. I wore my hair in an elaborate twist (my stepmom is a hairdresser) with glitter all over it and she did my make-up too.
It was such a fab night =)

yeah, except what I thought was such a great relationship wasn't, and now I'm single again, but, I've lived 15 (almost 16) years of my life w/o a guy, why in the world do I need one now?? I will go Prom with my friends, and have a good time there!! Pfft... who needs a relationship anyway? *Breaks down into tears and throws books across room*

Ha! I didn't go, and proud of it. I heard it sucked. Instead, my boyfriend and I went out to dinner in San Fran and then to the beach for some..fun :)

My boyfriend's taking me to senior prom this year!!! I'm so excited, I got this yellow dress that goes all the way down to my feet and it's really low cut in the back also. and it has a really pretty tie in the back. I'm SOO excited to go! After prom we are going into nyc to see a comedy show then staying at a hotel! It's gonna be the time of my life!

My prom is next week and an hour ago my guy friend called to say he'd go with me!

I'm actually pretty excited for prom, which is weird for me because I hate dressing up normally. But it will be fun. My boyfriend said he'd take me, even though I know he'd rather not go. He also said he'd go dress shopping with me; he must want something lol. Too sweet. :P

But all my friends are going, so I think it'll be pretty awesome.

At my school u cant go unless ur a junior or senior....even if you are invited by a junior or senior...which i thinhk sucks. but the guy who i like (who doesn't go to my school) asked me to his prom so i am getting to go! and i couldnt' be more excited or happier! Plus my bests friend's boyfriend is going and is taking her so we will have some one to hang with that we know!

My dress is floor length and bright red...not low cut i the front but in the back it has fabric that hangs down and has a jewl in the back......i will put it as my display pic as soon as i get home (im at school) so you all can see it!

My prom dress is red and white, floor length and it gets a little puffy at towards the bottom, it has sparkles on it and on the sides it is red and they have strings to tighten it and it just looks so cute with the strings ont he side! I love it and it was only $129!

Wanna know what's crazy for me? im in eighth grade, and i go to our high school for accelerated geometry...apparently that qualifies me as a high schooler, b/c i got asked to prom this year by THREE different guys!!! i was ecstatic, but im (:/) not going b/c i wanna wait until im a true freshman. still, an exciting way to start h.s.!!!

I love prom...me and my best frined jenny are the presidents of the committee and i love deciding everything.....i'm only a junior but i can't wait til next year for mine!! our theme is hollywood: lights, camera, action! i've been to a few proms....3 and they rock socks!

Hehehe Well I'm home schooled so I didn't think that I would ever go but my boyfriend who I've been dating for 3 weeks on Monday asked me so...hehehe I'm going =)
My gown is floor length, strapless and a deep ocean/royal blue =) Then I got some black airy type fabric that I'm going to use as a wrap *since I feel like I'm naked in my dress with that much of my back and shoulders showing* lol and silver 2 or 3 inch heeled strap sandals =)
Since my hair is short *hardly touches my shoulders* I got some crystal clips to hold it back on both sides after I curl it and my great-grandmothers crystal choker that matches the clips =D
I tried it all on last night to make sure that it all went good together and when I looked in the mirror my jaw dropped xD I felt like a princess and couldn't believe that the beautiful girl in the mirror was me lol xD

I'm very excited for prom! =D I haven't went dress shopping because mine's not this year and I'm skipping it this year to go to the after grad party instead. But for next year I have seen some dresses that I like. =)

Hmmm... i'm goin to go to prom like a couple of years from now..which is forever but i bet mine will the the best nite ever...

So, I just moved to my town, and just started high school. Therefore, I'm a freshmen. I got involved with theater in my new school and met some pretty amazing kids (mainly upperclassmen) A few weeks ago, one of my very good friends asked me to prom, as friends. He's a senior. Pretty cute too ;]

even though kids stereotype prom as being the night for hookups/breakups/drama, i'm viewing it as a time to spend with all of my friends before they go off to college.

BTW. my dress is gorg!!!!!!!

My prom is next Sat! I didn't go last year but this year I'm going with my friend and crush. He bought the tickets today at lunch! I can't wait but I've never danced with a guy. Yikes.

The prom here is on May 5 =) and I don't dance around people no matter who they are so this is going to be interesting because Lance really likes to dance *YIKES!* I'm going to make it through this though lol
I know that yes, a lot of drama happens around the prom and stuff like that but I'm not worried in the least about that because I know that we love eachother and IF anything happens that bugs either of us we're going to make it through it =)

k well...I like this guy...and we've known eachother for 4 years...but i only recently started liking him..after i realized i could trust him..and tell him ANYTHING...
we got into this fight 1ce...that lasted almost around 2 months...and then to end it..he said hi..and we started talking normally again (it lasted 2 months cause we're both stubborn..and have an ego problem..lol)...soooooooo yeaa..
His best friend says he likes me...and i flirt with him like anything...it's so obvious..
and 1 day he was going to ask me to prom...(June 1st)....and so he asked his other friend for advice...BUT that guy told him that im already going with some1...
so he backed off...i clearly told EVERYONE that i was bringing a friend..(who by the way is a girl, and I am straight)
so yea...now everything sucks..i don't think he'll ask me..
