play explore and experiment with yourself. i do all the time and the joy it does bring. im never ashamed or embarresed about it , why on earth is it such a taboo topic

I believe it is a taboo topic because not many people want to discuss their "methods" if you will. It is nothing against the people who do experiment, but honestly, i dont think this is the most appropriate topic for any forum...

I disagree with both of you and agree with the topic poster. It is much safer and better in almost every way when you consider things in black and white.

Whilst I personally prefer it with my girlfriend and don't feel right experimenting with myself, I think it is a great idea to promote 'D.I.Y.' as my form tutor says.

Why? It doesn't harm anyone - quite the opposite. If everyone followed this, there would be less rape, STD's (STI's) and unwanted pregnancies. Surely you are not promoting these things?

Gross and disturbing? Okay...in my opinion it is completely natural and its a great way to know your body. I don't think you're promoting anything negative and honestly, younger people? Everyone I one I knew, knew of these things, whether they liked it or not, by 8th grade. Young children are watching rap videos, taking sex ed, wearing hoochie clothes, talking to their friends, doing everything BUT talking to their parents. so at least SOMEBODY here is trying to give advice on an alternative to having sex just to fill curiosity and pleasure.

I think it's perfectly natural. And a lot of people do it. I really don't think it's gross. It's better than going out and having sex & doing other stuff, when you are way too young to be doing it. Plus, it's just so much safer :]

It's kind of disturbing because my cousin found this and he's only 8 years old and now he's asking me all this stuff.

On the other hand, it's not 'gross' or disturbing. I don't do it but I got to agree with some people on here, it's way better then going out and actually having 'sex' and everything.
