can one's writeings be bad??

i have read many thoughts from many people and i have been wondering, can someones writeings be bad?
i understand everyone is different but what if they dont make sense or they clash right?

You just want people to read your poems.

Regardless, I know for a fact that your poetry is 'bad'. I knew it would be bad anyway, simply because you are a teenager on this site (I haven't even looked at your profile), but by the way you type I can tell it is even worse.

Obviously presentation must be a factor of "good" writing, but if it's understandable, the message would get across.

It's really your own perception of a style, a context or a topic that ranks a poem differently. If you prefer strict quadrants to free verse, you would more easily judge free verse poems as "bad". However, there's probably quite a few people who would think the other way. No-one's wrong in thinking the way they want to though.

Apart from the people who would rather slander other users of the discussion board just so they can improve their Forum Users Award.

There is no bad poetry.
There are only different styles of it.
Anyone could write it as long as it comes
From the heart or deep inside your thoughts.
Although some poetry do need a bit of
Gramatic change.
What one believes of poetry is poetry.

Yes, god, yes there is bad poetry.
Some of the ones people write are so horrible ...
I remember a poem that was talking about cutting his/her wrist and then said something like 'your as plain as pea soup.' It sounds so much better than it is. That poem was treacherous.

Yes, there is bad poetry. Some people just can't write and need to accept that fact. I'd be glad to point them out. Yes, people have their own styles, and that's fine, just PLEASE do it well. And there are some who write for their own help; emotional support. That's fine. But it's really the people who THINK they're good that bugs me. That's just my opinion. Call me horrible for having one.
