Lucid Dreams; The closest thing to Reality

I made that name becauses it's catchy XD, But seriously Lucid Dreams are special dreams. 1/8 of your life is spent sleeping. To make up for lost time Lucid Dreaming is the key. That's just one thing. Lucid Dreams have limitless possibilities. For example:

Have a chat with Einstien

Soar through the sky

Meet Da Vinci and ask him to cook up a modern day tool to make your fortune.

Have any fears? Confront then with lucid dreaming.

This is to motivate people to lucid dream and I encourage people to tell lucid dreams they've had as well.

P.S. Starting this thread because I'm bored, but also because I want to know if any other people lucid dream.

Usually when i lucid dream its a nightmare and even though I know im dreaming i cant wake up!!!

it sucks.

That happens to me,,It's like once I had a dream a clown with a knife was chasing me down through the back streets of Spain and It was freaky but I wouldn't wake up and another time I was in school with 5 friends and it was home time but no one was around except us so we decided to take the bus home and it turned out the bus driver was a raper....Tis scary..

Except one time I had a dream we were living in my old babysitters garage... There were 4 girls and this guy was going to rape us all. He said if he screamed he was going to cut off our lips so i tried to scream (that was when I realized it was a dream) and i woke up screaming!!!

I've been having almost 7 dreams a week now and if I took the time to lay in bed and remember it, I could picture it and turn it into a poem :) and some poets might have done that because it's a great idea! Dreams are so mysterious, yet so special they'd make the perfect poems! :)

Color, the dreams are slightly vivid. I'll tell you one right now.

I dreamt that I was watching Hawkeye talk to a man with long, sort've curly hair. The man said he wasn't very good at using utensils and Hawkeye explained about the people who lived in the other huts on the beach. It looked like a game as the bottom of the huts changed. Three of the huts were on water, two on sand, one on sifted sand and grass, and one on dirt.
Then there were two guys in cars. They were playing thoses army simulation games. And there were four other guys. Two had one guy under them and they had the back of the rifle down on them. There was a tv in front of them demonstrating how to escape. The two guys in the car got out and went around to the other "real" cars. They looked at them and said they had new chance of winning the race. Then they came to a toyota truck. the back part was moving and as we walked away it kept showing the truck. The back moved to a small mound of dirt and let a glass cubone slide off onto the mound of dirt and then I woke up.

Right, well I'm young and interested in dreams. My opinion is some dreams can be insperational, a dream that gives you a message. Some lucid dreams are like that and I've been studying them. It's very interesting and if you want you can go to www.lucid-dreaming-kit.com (copy and paste) I bought this one thing off there and I'm loving it. from maybe 2 or 3 dreams a week, it's gone to 5-7 dreams a week :)

I once had this very strange lucid dream. I was in this gigantic mall and I befriended a rich girl. We start going around everywhere and we came across and escalator. We wanted to go up but the escalatore wasn't working. The richgirl got mad and pressed the on button but since there was a repairman working on it, things went wrong. Once rich girl pressed the on button, the repairment went flying and died in the flower shop. There was five minutes of silence and then everyon went back minding their own business. I was still shocked to what happened but once richgirl said "I'm hungry, let's eat" I shrug it off, knowing that this was just a dream. When we were eating all of the sudden, things went wrong. Everyone was screaming and pointing at this zombie upstairs. I looked up and saw the zombie. His left eye was hanging, his jaw was hanging in a weird angle. His skin was bornw and wrinkly. That's when I noticed the repairman suit. It was the repairman that richgirl accidentally killed. He started laughing crazy as he vowed to kill richgirl. Richgirl just scoffs at him and the zombie got mad. He then started throwing poison green scoops of ice cream at all of us. At first it was no big deal but once it hit a little girl, she turned to a zombie. everyon panicked and ran everywhere. I grabbed richgirl and start making a run for it. I don't know why I'm saving her life but I just did. When we ran out of the restaurant, there was this huge chocolate ice cream boulder about to run us over. I pushed rich girl to the left and the buolder missed us. But then another around, which is strawberry, came after us. I pushed rich girl to the other side but I didn't have time to get out so I jumped down to the second floor and landed on some decorative bushes and flowers, then I started to hear beeping noises and i woke up in my room. It was just a dream.

but... ALL dreams have meaning. even if you have a dream about a monkey stealing a sandwich when you really wanted that sandwich. lol... my ex had a dream about that...

I got a dream dictionary and a book by someone very famous in the dream field who I adore called Patricia Garfield, Ph.D. The two books are "Dream Dictionary' and "The Universal Dream Key." I recommend to everyone that you read Patricia Garfields books because they're awesome :D

I have a dream almost every night they are usually sad or dark dreams and usually im trying to find someone in them like my mum or one of my brothers but mainly one brother most of the time and something is always happening to my mum so i try to help her. Anyone have any idea what these dreams might mean or symbolise?

Can you give me specific objects in the dream, I have a dream dictionary and I'll be happy to look them up for you.

Dream dictionarys can be very overrated. Nobody can truely tell you what a dream means. It's your sub concious (sp?) It could mean anything to thinking about what you ate last to what you want to happen tomorrow. =/
