When i look in the eyes of the love i find,
i see how amazing and so Devinne,
the look in your eyes says that your lost,
I'll stand beside you till you find what you want,
although i love you and your cloudy mind,
the tears i hide way deep inside,
won't be seen by a guy so fine,
i can't help but to wander why you don't see,
i love you so much, you should be with me,

the look in your eyes have become so dark,
it's like your hiding something from me I'm afraid to know what,
there is no lightness, not even a spark.
you know what is funny,
that you still have my heart,
i can't let you go it hurts so much,
so you'll always have a little part of my heart.

to see you with her talking and laughing,
brings tears to my eyes that once were filled,
with the love you gave me forever until,
she came back to you and took you away,
best friends forever you said we'd stay,
you see what has happen since she came along,
she took you form me and now we're done,
not even close like we used to be,
i still remember the days you loved me.

your eyes are so dark, why can't i see through,
just like how i used to do.
it's just to hard to be like we we're,
you just say that probably cause of her.

the clouds in your mind have caused you to pretend,

I've never felt this feeling

Ever since I've met you

Every time I'm with you
I get these butterflies,
I've given you all my trust
trust that you won't tell me lies.

When you hold me in your arms
I feel so safe and small,
and when you kiss me on my neck
I have no cares at all.

Even from across the room
I can feel your stares,
and when I look into those deep brown eyes
I can see how much you care.

Even when we're not together
I feel we're not apart,
and I just wanted you to know

Our bodies were silhouetted against the sailor's sky,
A touch of your hand to my cheek, your breath on my neck,
"Take my hand and never let go, we will make it; I swear."
You whispered softly and turned to look me in the eye -

I caught a glimpse of fear in you, tilted my head to cry;
"Entwine your fingers in mine, that's where they belong."
My naive heart trembled to the sound of your words -
Our bodies were silhouetted against the sailor's sky.

Your breath danced in the air as you sang me a lullaby,
And as a crystal tear shattered on the grass, you smiled -
"I promise you baby, everything will be okay."
You whispered softly and turned to look me in the eye.

A Villonnet is a hybrid of the Villanelle and the Sonnet. It has the Iambic Pentameter of both, but holsd the four stanza/line structure of the Sonnet, while utilizing the two-line rhyme nature of the Villanelle. The final stanza replaces the Sonnet couplet with a typical Villanelle tercet.

We're crazy in love; like one of those forbidden romance movies.
So incapable of being indissoluble [strings attached].
Spend our days at the beach & nights by the moonlight.
Compatible; most people say [so perfectly matched].

Love; so deep nothing can stand in the way.
Conquering all mistakes, everything that goes wrong.
Happiness overwhelms our souls [like a cup over flowing].
Spinning in circles around each other to our favorite song.

Whispering adulating words in each others ears.
Cuddling by the warmth of sweet scenting candles.

The Keeper of My Heart

There is this handsome, wonderful and an amazing man
With an irresistible smile and for that I'd do whatever I can
He has beautiful blue eyes which within I see my reflection
I'm just not sure he really knows how deep is my affection

He gives incredible tight hugs, I'm lost in his embrace
But what is really cool to me is when I touch his face
And I love his witty sense of humor, with him its fun to be
He makes everyone laugh, but does so much more to me

He became one of my greatest friends and I love him for that
He is just wonderful to be with even if its just for simple chat
A truly unique man who somehow became the keeper of my heart
Who also felt the same for me and did from the very start

He has a sensual form of touch simply by running his fingers through my hair
But even without the physical form and when into my eyes he just glares
He makes my heart race like no one has ever done before
He is definitely one in a million and the one I most adore

If I was granted three wishes, I'd have to give away two
Because I only need one, my wish is to be with him and just say "I Love You."

I Can't Get Enough of You

It's like you're a drug that I get high off,
whenever you're by my side.

It's like I'm drowning in those eyes of oceans,
what would I do if you were to ever leave?
Because without you here with me,

I don't know how to explain-
This feeling I have for you.
Some would call it love,
But I call it fate.
It started so well,
And ended in tragedy.
It's just another story of a girl,

For the wrong guy.

Made For Each Other

A silent tear streams down her cheek
Fighting to be strong; accepting she's weak
Another one follows, until she can count no more
Her teary-eyed stare catches her drawer

A shudder, through her body, as she remembers what's inside
The pain she's holding close, she can no longer hide
She slowly gets up and opens the drawer
Hands shaking, she drops the notes on the floor

Collecting her wits as with all of the notes
She sits back down to look at what he wrote
All the memories come back and she's taken into the past
Back to a time when she thought they would last

As she reread the notes, the tears still dropped
She knew that the steam would never be stopped
After fighting the tears, she gave up, in vain
She knew there was no way to stop the pain

The folded notes, crease folded and torn
With letters and words, faded by worn
Each note, holding its own time frame
Each ending, showing the same exact name

''With Love'' or ''Yours''; endings meaning nothing now
Wishing things were different; wondering how
Wasted words, left nothing to be found
Wondering what life would be if he was around

Tears still flowing as she puts the notes back
Feeling in her heart, the place where she lacks
So as she sites back down, you can barely hear her mutter:
''But baby, I thought we were Made For Each Other.''

Song Of Love [Acrostic]

Sweet angels of heaven play a song so we can dance,
On brightly-painted stars play the notes of our romance.
Never let it end, this peacefulness that soothes our ears,
Gentle sounding lullabies, reminding us love is near.

Overwhelming sensations that make our hearts beat fast,
Following the steps of clouds dancing overcast.

Lyrics sung between two souls, in one beat, just one sound,
Our bodies move as one; feet never meet the ground.
Velvet skies watch over us, voices sing from high above,
Enchanting music, dancing hearts. When I hear our song of love.

It's 3 in the morning but you're still on my mind,
The tears blur the darkness, making me blind.

But now I realize it was you I was missing.

I’ve started smelling you in roses,
feeling you in the damp, dim evenings,
and seeing you in its lilac dew.

Meaning it was that I’d searched for,
and meaning it was, that you gave me.
This cold oil had never known
that there would come a day, when
your loving flame would kiss my lamp
and thaw my miseries away…
Now amidst your loving arms,
I am draped in peace, and a warmth
that I think my heart has grown addicted to…
The light illuminates, yet warns me,
and I can see the misty road just far enough
to tell me that it’s wise to be scared,
for reality is harsh, and the past tells me
that there are no hands of fate or circumstance
that do not believe in cruelty;
none that do not like lashing sand-castles
with their unrelenting waves of time.
Even a semblance of a parting is piercing
so if the winds of change ever cruelly blow,
and our time together is set in stone,
I know not what will remain of me…
