Dear friend who looks at all the dark
Please remember that there is always light
Remember that there is always someone there
Even if you tell them to leave you alone
Because we all care about you

Dear friend who can’t see the love she has
You have forgotten the warmth that is around you
The friends that adore every part of you
Your lover who wishes he could always be with you
And your family that loves you but just does not understand

Dear friend please look up from the ground
Please wipe away your tears
Remember you have us to cry on
No matter how hard you push
We will never leave your side

Dear friend I will show you what is up from down
I will pick you up when you fall and tell you that you’re okay
I’ll guide you when you can’t find your way
I will hold you when you cannot hold on
I am something you can believe in

Dear friend it pains me to see you sad
I never knew that you would affect me
And I’m glad you can
Because now I won’t ever leave your side
I’ll give you space but never will I abandon you

Dear friend smile one last time for me
Smile to a friend that you just met
That can feel the pain inside
Because she was once in your place
