wrong or right?

i recently told a councler that one of my friends said she was going to kill herself. Then the next day i saw her and she asked me if i was the one who told. I was like"well...." she go "i will never talk to the person who told again. I hate them they ruined my life" SO i told her that i didn't tell. Was this wrong? i feel soo bad 4 lying to my friend but i feel i had no other choice. If i haden't then i would be at her funrel insted of here. and i would be seing her 2~marrow. i am really confused~plz help!!!

hei you did no wrong so why do you feel guilty??? She gonna thank you someday this i could promise...so my advice dun think about it anymore and go on with your life..... She ought to be lucky to have a friend like you....

thanks u guys. I told her today and she said that she hated me. But she loved me because i gave her a second schance at life.
