Best friend --> boyfriend???

I have this guy friend of mine... well actually he's my best friend but the thing is that we are really enjoying each others company and so on...do you guys think that best friends can fall in love with each others and go out together? thanks

He fell in love with me. when i fell back we figured it would be too weird since we were so close. it was the best decision for us. but other best friend couples have potential of working no doubt about it. just be prepared for things to change if you break up.

Yeah I think that dating your best friend can work =) But like every other kind of relationship it still has a 50/50 chance of not working out and screwing up your friendship =P I think that you and the person you choose to spend your life with, wither it be dating for a few months or the rest of both of your lifes, should be your best friend anyways so I don't see any problem with it ^.^ ok actually the only problem with it is that if their your best friend then they know everything about you be it good or bad and although thats great most of the time, it has it's down side to =P lol

It didn't work for me and I lost a really really good friend out of it. But I'm not you and it wasn't the same situation so what you do is your choice.

Yes it can happen and yes it does happen and it can work out as well. My boyfriend was my best friend...we went so well together and even afer he dumped me we were still close and I mean really close. It depends really on how close you are as best friends that if something went wrong you'd be able to still remain best friends but anyway go for it...you never know you could end up really happy!!

um I think its true you can be bestfriends and then start dating because I'm in that position right now. Here's details, ok me and the guy actually started dating first for a year and 2 months. Then we broke up and remained bestfriends, I mean BFs to the point of telling eachother everything even if it was about present lovers. We were and still are that close. Well we were Best friends for 7 years and still are counting (lol), But here;s the catch we started back dating in March and things are great we know eachother like the back of our own hands. so its works believe me!!!!!!!!!

Let's just say if you and your best friend date and things don't work out in the relationship, your friendship will never again be the same. You will then have lost your best friend, because things will then be to awkward.

Well take this into hand. IF you two go out and things end, will you two still be friends in the end??

Better chance of lasting if you're best friends. That way you know so much about each other it just.. works.

If your best friends stay that way, it can only ruin a relationship if you go further, even "friends with benefits".

My boyfriend that i have now were best friends for two years and we just starting falling for each other its hard to see someone everyday and tell them everything and not love them Now that hes my boyfriend im happier than ever and we've been together for 6 months and even if we do break up i kno i can count on him to be there for me
