The Day Of Silence

April 18th is The Day Of Silence. It is a day for all gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transexuals, and supports to stand up against all the hate crimes against our sexual preference. Be heard!
This is the day where you take a vow of SILENCE for all gays, bis, transeuxals, ect, and stand up for what rights should be ours. Take the vow of silence!
I'm going to do so with pride and make T-shirts and all. Do it with me!

And I know I'll get put down for this, but gays and ect ARE people and should have HUMAN rights. Stand up for what rights we should already have.

Wow. ive never heard of anything like this.

im goign to see if i can get some students at my HS to participate.. but its short notice. =[ i mean. im on spring break so its going to be hard to get people to do this.

so i'll probably end up doing it next year.

A day of silence for homosexual people... I mean no offence, but the gay people I know are going to find this REALLY difficult. But then I think there are a lot of people in this world of ours who should have a day of silence, based on their social and political views. But they never freakin' have one.

Gay "people" are not another species for you to generalize them as just kind...Not of all of them are so, but then, I do not lump everyone together...I see them as individuals..with their own free will.

There is no 'normal'... everybody are different, it doesn't make the way they are or see things wrong though... In fact I would go as far as saying abnormal is the most 'norm' these days.... Be happy, live happy, make others happy... what else is there? If you want to make others happy you are 'normal' if you want to make others unhappy then you are the not.... just my opinion.... remembering you have to keep yourself happy at the same time as making others happy :]

Catholic Adoption agencies do not give children to gay couples, but suggest that they go to anpther.

^^The girl above is right, then go make your freaking shirt. You know WHY its a big deal? Because people like you judge a homosexual person based on their sexual orientation alone and for one, single, lousy day homosexual people get a united voice to speak out (or lack of speak out). If you want a freakin straight day then go out and make it, but don't sit and whine about a cause thats really important to some people. And for the record, gay doe snot always equal happy as a clam, grow up.
