Should i say something?????

I have been off and on with this guy for like 4 years. We have dated like 8 different times. The 7th time i broke it off because of this other girl Sam. She was always all over him and she would flirt with him right in front of me. I told him i didnt want to do this anymore and walked away. Later that day he came up to me and asked y i did wat i did. i told him idk. I felt stupid. then the last time we broke up i found out he was going to "TALK" to me. My BEST- friend said he was going to break up with me and so she went up to him and said that i dont want to go out with him anymore after i told her NOT to. I really LIKE him and i hate seeing him with other girls. I have told him how i feel, but he never said anything back. When we are around each other he acts like i never told him and he calls me and we IM each other. Should i ask him to go out with me. Or What???PLEASE HELP ME... I cant take it anymore

Wow.. this relationship sounds very messy to tell you the truth.
I think both of you have been told so many different things by different people, neither of you know what's what anymore.

You need to have a long talk (Face to face!!!) and really dig down to the root of the problems. Forget what everyone else has said and concentrate on what the two of YOU have said,
And figure out from that what you both want.
