    Hmm I know what you're saying britt but to be honest, these groups get segregated anyways so I think after all the prejudice against them, why not embrace it openly as a group?

    I think that no matter if you are gay, lesbian, bi, or transgender if you have love then you have nothing to worry about. i am a big supporter of them but my sister is lesbian and my best friend is gay but a guy at heart and also my twin is bi so hell yeah I'm all for them God will judge them in the end word up to all my gay friends LOL

    I was going to do this today, but i had no others to join with me in my school..

    Then today! there were like 7 people who did it.

    i was like YES! we can do it full blown next year. =]

    I don't understand the adversity to Day of Silence. We have several days devoted to holidays/dedications to minorities.

    For instance, Martin Luther King Jr, Day for the celebration of the civil rights movement and success and many groups openly celebrate Day of the Dead which is a Latin-American holiday.

    If GLBT want to honor those who have been killed, victimized, shunned, and alienated, why oppose it?

    I want a day of silence for short people like me. we're always used as armrests!
