Writer's block

I haven't written a poem for what seems like years, well definately months anyway... I used to write about my feelings, but since then I've learnt just to bottle it all up, so how can I get back into writing??? I've tried to write but nothing seems to flow and go with the moment as it used to...
What do you use to inspire you, or how do you start a poem when you don't know where it's going to go?

I have writers block right now so to get rid of it, i'm not pushing myself. I'm just browsing the forums, listening to music and messing about with make-up. Anything to take my mind off things. When the muses want to work again, they'll work =)

On the other hand, make a list of random words and phrases that come to mind and piece them together into a little poem. It doesn't have to make sense, but it's something to get the creative juices flowing again =)

I have writers block too, but I try to start it out as a tune or use certain things in my poems like Twilight, Silver Glass, and Time. Using certain things in your poems can help you think it out, but that's what I think...

Writers block kills i supose you just have to try and fight it, think about your day if it helps because some inspiration may come from some thing you have done in recent days.

    Hello,
Hmm...Well normally i know whats going on and how i feel. So i when im in the poetry writing mood, which isn't always. I open up microsoft word or notepad, and just write words that i feel/ can relate to. Then i put them in short sentences and add rhythm. And hopefully i'll feel a lot better about whatever i was feeling.
