    What's up with that rule? That's dumb!
    What about different threads... etc...?

    I usually have only like, 40 min or less on here, so that's like, 4 threads?! What about my group?

    Who came up with that rule?

    I'm just wondering why it said that to me when i hadn't started a thread yet...

    Weird.. =/

    Yes, Britt, that's exactly right. I'm sure there will still be spammers, but it won't be as easy.

    I'm not sure why Gem got the message before she'd even made a thread, but I'm pretty sure it's just for making new threads and not answering in a current one.

    It's one per ten minute period on THE WHOLE DISCUSSION BOARD for me, not just one section....

    Hmm.. well that still doesn't explain why i got the message before I'd ever started a thread =/

    I just experienced that too, Gem. I had just answered a post and accidentally hit "Start new post" and it said I could do that after 10 minutes.

    Is there a way to fix this Janis??

    Yah i agrre with Stephen Denny Paul Whaite, or To Know Me Is To Love you or what ever. but i think it is stupid i think we should at least be abel to post at least 2 or three per 10 minutes.

    *To Know You is to Love You

    I happen to agree with Bob. If you post a reply to a topic and immediatley want to turn around and start a topic, this gives you time to think it through before hand. It will allow the poster to think if a thread similar already exists, or even better, if this thread is really worth writing at all. Hopefully this rule will keep people from having to sift through the numerous, repetitive, garbage threads that pop up more than once a month just to get to a thread that actually has discussion and so forth. Perfect example the dream debate stuff. Somebody saw it as already posted, replied to it, then turned around and made a topic about dream meanings, in the wrong forum. Gotta love this rule.

    I agree with stopping the spammers, but I always have a bunch of new things to start in my club on Mondays and yesterday I could only start one! I even logged off and came back on after I was done my Psychology homework and I still couldn't!

    =\

    We've survived this long perfectly fine without this rule, i think it is safe to assume we don't need it.

    I agree, i can remember when all the forums were attacked with spammers, it was chaos for ages!
