hey guys i am here because i am sick of the way gays are treated it's not right. gays are people that are in love maybe even more than people that are straight. i think whoever thinks that gays should be treated differently because of they're sexuality should be shot and i would not mind doin the pleasures.

Gay people have no choice in the fact that they ARE gay. my religion accepts gays so don't use that one against me.

JustPlainMe, what god do you believe in because it does not say ONCE in the bible that homosexuality is a sin. The sin is having homosexual sex for idolatric purposes.

Whew... I'm not going into JustPlainMe's argument here. I'm just gonna post my answer and opinion.

I, one hundred percent, support gay rights and marriage. Gay is not something you can control and anyone who says it's a choice should be taken out and shot. It doesn't make sense. Think about it: Look at how much predjudice there is against the gays; why would anyone deliberately WANT to be that way? It's just a part of them, like their hair color or body type. They can't help it. So, who are we to say they can't have the same rights and privileges heterosexuals do just because they're a little different? As someone said before (I'd give you credit if I could remember your name... sorry... lol I'm bad like that), what happened to equal rights? We're not treating the gays any more equally than we were treating the blacks! All they're doing is loving someone; who are we to say they can't share the same marital bonds heterosexuals do just because they don't follow the 'code?' We have no right and I will fight for gay rights with every fiber of my being. So, there is my answer and reasoning behind it.

Thats a bit stereotypical, isn't it?

*Sigh* This is ridiculous. Just about every time I read a topic on here, JustPlainMe has to come on and be all defensive, negative, and downright slanderous. Right, you're entitled to your own opinion, but I, for one, do NOT want to sit here, and wade through all of your bashings to other people.

Also, you claim that your God doesn't approve of homosexuality, and you use the Bible as reference. I can only assume, then, that you're calling yourself a Christian. I say this, because ONLY a Christian can say that God is his. Now, having said that, here's this:

    Colossians 3:8, 12-13

8 - But now also, put them aside: Anger, wrath, malice, slander, AND abusive speech from your mouth.

12-13 - And so, as those who have been chosen by God, holy, and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another, and forgiving each other...

I'm sorry, but just by reading your posts, none of that, correlates with anything "your God" has commanded of you, so, yeah. If you want more Biblical proof of anything, I've got plenty of it, and if you don't want to listen to the Bible, that just proves you're being hypocritical.

This is not the place to argue about this, Justplainme. In fact, there IS no place to argue about this. Fighting with someone over the interent is just plain stupid. I said my piece, and I don't care what posts you put up anymore. Basically, when people try to use half-thought-out ideas and stuff, I tend not to care much anymore anyway. I can't explain the Bible, just like you can't. Everything has been left to our own interpretations, and if you see that the Bible contradicts itself, then that's your own interpretation.

First, being gay is not wrong unless your some religious fanatic.
Secong, gays aren't the only people that get AIDs. It's a well known fact.

i am not getting all into the arguments but i want to say to broken smile...thank you, i am so glad someone out there realizes that gays are not "sick" and should not be judged...thank you so much, that means a lot, i, myself am bi and i have a uncle who is gay and a great aunt who is a lesbian and its ok that a lot of people don't accept gays ya know...even my own family don't when we have so many gays in it but i can never say God will accept me and other gays and i can never say that God looks down on homosexuality...it's a matter of waiting till judgement day...no one knows the outcome even the mr.perfect justplain me here or n e one who is arguing with him (btw very ignorant) and well we can only look for the best and thanks again broken smile...loves. God bless.

JustPlainMe, I never said you said gays shouldn't be married or anything else you accused me of. I was just merely stating my opinion outside this ridiculous argument.

And in response to the post above me (forgive me, I don't remember your name), I am bisexual as well, as is my aunt. My uncle is homosexual. I am familiar with this subject and I believe that it doesn't matter who you love or what your sexuality is, it's what you make of your life that will make the difference on judgement day. If God will send someone to Hell just because of their sexuality, then he himself has issues he needs to deal with.

"gays smell like gay homo butt sex"
    that is true though.

and blacks do have big noses. take a look around. it isn't being racist.

Eirisa - you talked about how people like justplainme got raped by their dads. but you know what, most people who turn gay were molested by their parent.

  • Ariah Kaltesh

Lisa Marie, that's not true. No one TURNS gay. They just are. It's in their genetic code from the beginning. Being molested by a parent has nothing to do with it.

And JustPlainMe, anyone can get AIDS.

Was it a guy or a girl? I thought it was a skinny small asian woman actually.

My argument does 'stick' so you put it. Seeing how gays are so bashed today, who would possibly CHOOSE to be that way? And Snowbird, I don't know what chromosome the gene is on, I didn't do research. All I know is what I am and though I'm not gay, I'm bi, and I know that I didn't choose to be that way, I just am. And I was never molested by anyone. I was never touched by my parents in any way. JustPlainMe, I think you need to get a clue. Look it up on any site; anyone can get AIDS. It is not something only gays can get and it is not called the 'gaids.' That is a ridiculous statement.

  • Sean Allen

Well, on Freud, he knew a heck of a lot less concerning genetics than we do. I think that statistical evidence would show that due to the extremely low correlation coefficient (really close to zero) concerning a connection between the household people grew up in and whether they turned out to be gay, there doesn't seem to be too much of a chance that homosexuality is purely mental. I don't really care too much for the genetic argument, but I don't see much evidence proving or disproving it, unlike the nurture argument, which does have a bit piling up on the against side.

  • Ariah Kaltesh

Yeah, that scene is telling in it's own way. Heterosexuals say the opposite sex 'feels right.' Gays say the same sex 'feels right.' It's all a matter of who you are. And JustPlainMe, you proved your own statement wrong when you said that homosexuals account for fifty-five percent of AIDS. I don't know if that's true or not, but it's certainly more believable than your statement that only gays get AIDS.

  • Lipton

    Real argument? You contradict yourself.

You said only gays get AIDS (GAIDS).

So, let's look at these facts, shall we?

23% from IV drug users (not necessarily gay)
14% from blood transfusions (You don't have to be gay to get a transfusion)
    2% are straight

These percentages are of the non-gay AIDS inflicted people. Maybe you should change your argument a bit to, "the majority of people with AIDS are gay."
