Dr Seuss

I don't know about you, but I think Dr. Seuss is a great man. He is one of my heros. I was just wondering what everyone thinks about Dr Seuss. Please tell me what you think, whether you idol him, or hate him with a passion, please share.

Growing up I loved Dr. Suess [still do] I loved his books, and I even had footie pajamas with green eggs and ham :] lol However, I didn't get the enjoyment of hearing the books often when I was little [too young to read] my dad refused to read them to me. lol He got so tungue tied [you should have seen him try and read red wall books...haha] This reminds me that my Grandma used to refuse to read me Bearinstain Bear Books...Because she refused to read anything to me where "Brother" and "Sister" were actual names.... lol

I loved Dr Suess when I was growing up and now I'm excited to share him with my son. We have a better time sitting around reading his books then anything :)

I love reading his books. I find his books comforting. That's probably because my mom would read them to me....but now she's gone, so I guess when I read them they bring back that old feeling of love....*sigh*. He was also a great guy aside from a writer....he never cared about money and he wrote for fun. He was amazing!

He was great. if he didnt care about money, hes now a favorite of mine. MONEY IS THE CURSE OF THE WORLD! SAVE THE TREES!

^Oh sad....I still have a lot of his books....but my niece ripped some of them....but Im going to buy new ones (when I stinkin get a job and get money....grrr)!

He may be a great man to others but I never like his books at all as a kid and I don't really care at all about him now.

I use to have every Dr. Suess book when I was a kid :) they helped me learn to read too! My favorite one is the Butter Battle Book.
