Abortions

Has anyone here ever had an abortion or know what happens when you do? I have a friend who says she did, but she's a pathological lair, so I don't know whether it is a lie or not. She has lied about big things before. So im confused. If i knew how they were done they I would know if she was telling the truth or not. Help me please?

I'm not sure but i remember a post on here about it and someone said that they insert a 'stick' with a blade on the end inside the uterus and i presume that they cut the umbilical (sp) cord which helps the baby survive. I could be wrong though. I do know that you can only have a abortion early on as if something like more than 6 weeks passes the child has developed too much to carry out the abortion. I have had someone i know who had an abortion and i do know that it leaves major psychological impacts and the person often breaks down and regrets their decision. That is why they now offer intensive counselling to someone before they decide to go ahead with the abortion.

Well, i feel bad enough doubting that she did have one, but she's lies alot. And I know that it's not her fault becasue she has a few things wrong with her, but she does tend to go through some bad shit. She said that it was a tuby thingy and they sucked it out, but I my other friend asked our science teacher and he said it isn't done llike that.

I'm against abortions too, but it's that persons mistake. A lot of my friends have had abortions too, but the worst thing to do is not believe them..or show them that you don't anyways, you can research it and then decide, but be there for her.

I am pro-choice, and I think it is up to the individual...

I am against it only because the way I look at it is why would God give you the chance to be a mom and you go and kill that child? why would God allow you to become preganant and let you abort the baby?

Ew ew ew ew ew @ the fact this wasn't about whether you thought it was wrong or right and this might end up another catfight about stupid abortions.

Under the law, if a woman has an abortion, and the father's family takes her to court. It wouldn't count as infanticide, because a foetus is seen as not human...While in the mother's womb.

Well some people get a shot and it kills the child with out going inside the girl but im not sure if you can tell. but if she lies alot then she most likely is lying about this to get attention. but i think you shouldnt say anything to her about you being unsure about if shes telling the truth or not cuz your not sure in the first place if that really happened or not.

I haven't had one but I do know about them..There are different ways it can be done...The surgical way they basically turn the fetus into mush and suck it out...Not a pretty sight....
I am pro life though and don't beleive in abortion
