No, just in most cases anymore.

Mike always opened my car door for me, and gave me a seat, it's just simple little things like that that really make a person happy ^_^

At my school, there are a bunch of guys who made a club for that. They give up their chairs for girls, they always let girls go first and all that. Plus I have a bunch of guy friends who are like that. So no, I do not think it has died!

Well I have to say that I really did think that it was dead until I met my boyfriend ^.^ He showed me that there was still really good guys out there that don't want to hurt you any chance they get and are willing to make you feel like your special enough to deserve the world =) hehehe...his name is Lance and I think that it fits him to a T =) the whole knight's of the round table thing =D
If you had asked me 6 weeks ago then I would've said "Yes it is" without even having to think but lol now I'm reminded all the time that it isn't dead in the least ^.^ Yes, it may seem that chivalry is dying but maybe guys are just not letting people know that they are like that because then people tend to take them for granted and use them =p If we want guys to act like that then we as girls need to appreciate them and all the small things they do *like holding doors, being respectful that sort of thing* more ^.^

Definitley not dead! You just need to find the right ones
Marcus always opens doors for me and because his bed is really high of the ground, rather than having me climb up, he always lifts me.
He's polite on buses too, will always givee his seat to an eldely person.
    He's lovely.
    A lot of them are.

    I don't think it's dead.

It's just not such a popular concept anymore.

I think it's so weird. Us females are always going on about how we want equality! And all that, and yet we still expect guys to open doors for us and pull out our chairs. It's slightly hypocritical. :)

I'm not complaining- because I'm guilty of it too lol. It was just an observation.

I agree with most of you. its not as emphasized as it used to be. i think alot of us get so caught up with things that we dont notice the guy who is holding the door open for you, or whatever.
i have never really noticed it to be completley honest.

Adam I agree with you, I was just thinking about this a lot. I went to hold a door open for one of my guy friends and he wouldn't go through it until I went first. It seemed weird to me, that's all.
