Okay, you are lucky that right now i am on my cell phone and my typing is slow or you would see a long list of swears... As you may or may not know, i have over eight hundred poems. Well, a poem i submitted was deleted. A poem i submitted a long time ago. What, do you moderators take advantage of me to look for errors... Well, in fact, this was no error on my part. I'm sure that the moderator deleted that poem without even reading it. The title was, To Neil (I Know You'll Never Read This). Now, upon first glance, you may think the title is not within compliance with the rules, BUT IF YOU TRULY READ THE POEM, you would realize the poem is a DESIRED LOVE POEM DUH! I will post the email and the poem on here to prove to your that the moderator's are INCORRECTLY moderating. If you want to delete this, go ahead. I will complain about that. But first, i want to know who deleted it. I am extremely angry and this place is virtually my life and i've had a really bad day and careless mistakes are in bulk right now. Ty

If a poem gets deleted off your account, do we get told about it Janis?
    Just wondering.

Thank you. Still, I was having a bad day, what-with my friend totally ditching me (forever) for my neighbor and saying that i am an outright @shol3 for no reason at all, along with many other "dramatic situations" that involve the loss of friends, it seems this week the whole world is a teensy-bit on the latter side.

I appreciate you recovering my poem, and I suppose there is no damage done, but I still ask that the moderator's read the poem before they delete it.

    Here is a suggestion:

When you send and email for the poem in violation, include the poem in question in the email because many people only have one copy... it would be helpful to them so they at least have a second copy.

    Thank you.

Actually, my poem has not been recovered. I still have 2200 votes (I had 2201) and 819 poems, (I had 820). Any reason why?

Some of us, like me, are in the process of deleting all poems that go against the rules. This even includes rule #3.

    --Sher

Just make sure your titles follow the rules.

NOW i have 818 poems and 2198 votes?????

And i got a SECOND email saying the poem was violating a rule!!!

    Stephen Denny Paul White,

    EMAIL NUMBER TWO!

    I didn't even RESUBMIT it!?????

What is happening here? Somehow, two SEPARATE poems have been removed, one has been removed twice.... I am so totally confused.

HELP? Who just deleted the poem that Janis put back up (besides the fact that i didn't even find it myself)

    AHHh! The Drama!

  • IdTakeABulletForYou

    Sherry (oops).
    READ THE POEM!

The poem is titled that because it is a poem about a person who I am in love with, whom of which will never read the poem because he doesn't notice me, and in desperation, I write a poem that states even though he will never read it, the poem is to him.

IT IS NOT IN VIOLATION OF THE RULES!

How dare you delete a poem that Janis himself located and replaced! Dear, what on earth are you thinking?!

  • Gem

I don't get it. What are you violating? =/

  • Sherry Lynn

Babe ... If I deleted it again I am sorry, but I just logged on a few and saw that Janis replaced it.

I am not even sure if I am the one that deleted it to be honest. I recommend that you hit the appeal button if that is the case and then who ever deleted it can choose to have it taken care of.

And please .. change the title take out the (You'll never read this) part .... That little piece violates rule #3.

It's not saying the reader's will never read it, it's saying the person who the poem is about will never read this. The title is like that on paper, as well. If i could take a picture and put it on here, i would...

  • Sherry Lynn

    Stephen,
Babe I understand that hun. I am merely suggesting that you remove that part of the titlt from here.

When the mods are going through and cleaning out over 300 poems that the titles alone break the rules it is easy for a poems to get caught up in mahem.

I was only making a suggesting that would help prevent any more mistakes regarding your poem babe. I am not trying to be mean or rude, but only helpful for all parties involved.
