How do you like it to end?

Well the ending in a poem is the part that is suposd to make an impact on the reader... It is indeed a very important thing so I would like to talk about this whith u people...
Well I mostly write sad poetry and my most common technique is to give the character something good and then in the end take it from them again.
Like you give a lonely man a friend and then take that friend away again...

Any more ideas about endings?.. not only sad but evrything...

I enjoy the suspenseful endings that keep the readers thinking in their heads about what happens after the poem is complete.

Oooh I misunderstood the question I guess haha, I sometimes end mine but sometimes leave them open, but I like reading the supsenseful ones it just reflects on the type of movies I like as well haha =)
