Anyone can put sincerely, or love, or cordially. i think how you end a letter or thought determines who you are.

humble- i'm not better than you or anyone

obedient- i'm under your charge willingly

servant- willing to do all i can for people. opening doors for ladies, taking out the trash for strangers, going above what i'm expected to help someone out.

    Really...See I would counter that...David

Humble: It would seem that you do not have the ambition rather you would rely on other's powers to escalate you. Or I would intrepret it as nothing more than a brown nose tactic to elevate the man's sense of pride.

Obedient: Now to me this would seem as another tactic. You clearly telling him, I am all yours and I will do whatever you wish. Again reinforcing his sense of pride, and yet also giving him a sense of arrogance.

Servant: Now David, it is gentlemenly to open doors for ladies...That is ettiqute...But when you say taking out the trash for strangers. It would seem odd for you to use that. You have an intresting choice of intrepretation of the word servant. Seeing this I would think that you would want a job starting up doing menial tasks and working or should I say clawing your way up the ladder....

See when you write a letter...You put sincerely, or love, or cordially because you want to seem personable...But to put from your humble obediant servant...Now that actually raises some questions...

But again I ask Janis: Please get us some pepsi....I'm Thirsty...Lol.

Really? well the founder of my country wrote like that, many people from the older times wrote like that. i will not give in to popular trends because someone is uncomfortable asbout the way i sign a letter.

I'll recite what the webster's dictionary says about these words.

humble - not proud or haughty, not arrogant or assertive

obedient - submissive to the restraint or command of authority; willing to obey

    servant - one that serves

    (to go further)

serve - to be of use; to be favorable opportune, or convenient; to provide services that benefit or help
