Extremely Difficult Style (Letter By Number By Line)

Okay, right now i am typing up a new poem of mine that is the same style as this example:

L
O
V
E

Little did i know
love would never last
have you ever tried to love
Love never loves me back.

It goes, 1st line, 1st letter (L)
2nd line, 2nd letter (O)
3rd Line, 3rd letter, (v)
4th line, 4th letter (e)

It is pretty tough, a real good challenge.

I tried my best, and it took me all math class to do...

This is a kind of cool idea. I went to your site to read your version, though, and I got lost after the first four lines... does the pattern repeat every stanza, or do you go on (fifth letter, fifth line, etc)?

This is interesting wouldnt mind trying it one day.

Actually, Robert Frost has a poem using this technique. I never said it was mine, I just said it's difficult.

And that ex wasn't the actual poem, it was an example.

1st line, 1st letter (L)
2nd line, 2nd letter (o)
3rd line, 3rd letter (v)

5th line, 5th letter (t)
6th line, 6th letter (h)

etc to spell out:

Love that Didn't Last (Which is the Title)
