Pictures for poems or washed out backgroundS?

    Hey there.

I was writing poems in word before finding this site. I found some pictures relative to poems and either put them at the bottom or washed them out and used it as a background...

It would be good if we could customise poems using font editors as well as adding pictures as long as the total file size is minimal so quick to load...

I think it livens up a collection and may also put more feeling to it before reading.

Can make reading it more meaningful.

    Can it be added? :D

    JustPlainMe,

You bring up a good point about spacing. I can't say I'd care too much about the pictures... but maybe font sizes? There are types of poetry, or at least I've seen poetry written in a way that the size of the words and their orientation give a specific meaning. I think font manipulation might add to the message of a poem, but I don't really think pcitures do much besides distract. I can just imagine little gifs of people cutting themselves or something. Yuck.

    Yeah.

People have a hard enough time understanding and editing/commenting on the poems, lets not make it more complicated by adding images as well.

I think if you put the pictures in, people would pay more attention to the picture than the actual poem and if they don't like the pic they assume the poem sucks. =]
