When we first met
I could never have known
That in your heart
I'd find my home.

It all started
With the gentlest of smiles.
I remember just standing,
Staring into your eyes.

The day we kissed
Is one I'll never forget -
We were out in the rain,
Our clothes sopping wet.

But we didn't mind -
It was like a blessing from above.
That was four years ago,
I guess we'll be, forever in love.

With our undying love
And passion so true,
There is no way
We'll ever be through.

But I still cry
Each time you have to leave.
You are my everything,
My one and only, Steve.

I know the day will come
When I'll be your wife,
And I'll get to stare into those eyes
For the rest of my life.

This feeling we share is more
Than I could ever have dreamed of.
I guess we'll be
Forever in love...

Happiness is Just a Gash Away

Sitting here with a blade in my hand,
I think about you,
And I'm smiling at the thought
Of what I'm about to do.

Feeling this sudden rush
Of energy flowing through me,
I realise that there is nowhere else
I would rather be...

...Than right here on
My bathroom floor,
Knowing that, after this,
The pain will be no more..

...Knowing that
No matter what you say -
I know that happiness
Is just a gash away.

Now, just lying here,
The floor covered in red,
The final words I want to say,
Is that it was for you that I bled.

And I now understand
That, come what may,
Happiness is just
A gash away.
