OMG same here. I've been thinking of inventing something that you can write with and on in the shower, that's waterproof. It seems it's my place of ideas that end up fading away. |

I don't "think up" poems. They come to me when I am in a state of receptivity. |

My work come from the heart, where ever my heart is, that is where I write. In the shower, in the car, at the computer. It does not matter. The words are like whispers in the wind that only I can hear. |

When I'm sad, when I look at something inspiring, when I'm just about to go to bed, but mostely when my mind starts to wander freely without worry or guidance. |

Most of my poems were written in school or on a bus when i was meant to be in school. lately though i have just been typing my poems as i think of the ideas and i find it so much better to edit them |

Funny how most people have said otherwise, but music helps me write. In fact, lyrics are probably my biggest inspiration, not to say that I end up writing anything close to the song(s) I'm listening to. It's the emotion I get from a certain genre, artist, or a single song, that inspires me. I listen to music pretty much all the time, so a poem can pop up any time of the day...but nights, I find, are a better time for writing. Oh, and of course I come up with a crap load of lyrics and poems in the shower. Duh. |
