Who would you stand in front of the bullet for? (And for you Smart-Alek's, please don't say "I'll just stand in front of my own bullet")

I would stand in front of the bullet for some people on my favorite's list and some other people on here who can't fit, as well as the people i know personally:

I like to think that if I ever saw anyone about to be shot I would do my best to save them, regardless of relation.

I would jump in front of a bullet for anyone, even a stranger. Not because I'm that willing to die, but because I would be a hero to somebody, even if they never knew my name.

When it comes down to the real thing, without the dramatics and the heroics... I'm not sure if I would have the courage.
But, I know that (to a point) I am willing to defend my pets, my family, and my friends.
If I said "I would take a bullet for them" I am not sure that would be completely honest, as I have never been in that situation.

Lol iwould take a bullet for anybody who cant defend for tehmselves, i woudl take a bullet for any one who would take a bullet for me... and the ppl wh o wouldnt do it for me... i would pretty much take a bullet for any one who doestn deserve it

Honestly, I'd have to say I'd take a bullet for anyone in danger, but I with no doubt about it would take a bullet for:

Family
Friends
Children
And anyone without the strength to defend themselfs

Overall, it is everbody lol, I'm just that type of person that would do anything for others, if one is in danger, no matter what the situation I'll help.

Not sure if many of you know this, mostly because I've never told anyone before, but I have helped children in need, 2 boys about 6 years old where being attacked by 2 older men, I'd say about 25 or 30, I was 18 and I was a brown belt in karate, I just so happened to be riding my bike past this scene, and jumped off my bike in a heartbeat, and my adrenaline and the stuff I learned in Karate came into place, One guy pulled a knife on me, and the other pulled a gun on me after I beat the other guy up pretty well. I called 911 almost imediately after I had both of them tied down, one with my belt, and the other with my shirt. I saved those boys lives that day, and I will never forget it. The smile on their faces and the warm hugs I received from both was an outstanding award for me, and that's all I wanted. They wanted to make a big deal out of it and put me in the paper, give me an award for heroism, etc. But I said no, I didn't want all that attention.

I actually would take a bullet for someone, because I know that I virtually have done more in my life and accomplished more things than many people have ever accomplished. Besides being lonely, I think I could go to the grave pretty satisfied with myself at such a young age, and I'm not trying to be selfish or stuck-up or anything like that... it's just, I would honestly give my all for someone else...
I don't fear death, nor the pain that comes with it. The only thing I fear is being forgotten.

Let's look at what the VT Professor did for his students.
Will he ever be forgotten? Not in my lifetime, at the least.
What better way is there to die than to let someone else live in the process? (rhetorical question, people)
